𝐄𝐍𝐇𝐘𝐏𝐄𝐍 is a KPop idol group formed by BELIFT LAB, a joint agency of Big Hit Entertainment and CJ E&M, through the survival show I-Land on MNet in 2020. Of the 23 participants, the final episode of the reality show ended with the official announcement of the group name consisting of seven members, namely Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Jungwon and Ni-Ki. 𝐈nterestingly, ENHYPEN's leader actually came from a member of the maknae line named Jungwon. Since he was still competing at I-Land, Jungwon's figure has immediately caught the public's attention until he succeeded in taking first place in the I-Land final with the highest number of voters. So, it's not surprising that when he officially debuted, he was idolized more and more by ENGENE, the name for ENHYPEN fans.

𝐉ungwon started his career in the Korean entertainment world by participating in the I-Land survival show on MNet from June 26 to September 18 2020. However, Jungwon never actually aspired to become an idol. In an online interview session for ENHYPEN DEBUT SHOW: DAY ONE, the maknae, who is also the leader of this group, admitted that he dreams of becoming a taekwondo athlete. 𝐈nterestingly, since joining I-Land, Jungwon has stood out and started to grab the attention of voters and managed to get 1,417,620 votes. So ranked first in the final round of I-Land, along with six other colleagues he officially debuted as the ENHYPEN group.
