DON'T WELCOME DEATH
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 NIV
"Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.”
Imagine a public bus service driver who uses the bus for his personal errands instead of serving the interest of the state's transport system. What do you think happens to the driver ?
He will get fired once constant reports from the observing public gets to the head officials and he still doesn't turn a new leaf.
That is the same thing with us. God has made in us a holy nation which is under obligation to advertise the glory of His kingdom through our lifestyles. The devil who is the "accuser of the brethren" is also under constant observation, ready to report our sins to God.
And God being merciful, will give us the space or opportunity to repent. But when the reports keep getting to Him and there isn't any sign of repentance in us, He then takes away the body (temple) He's given to us and that only results in death. (Romans 6:23) Death may come in different ways; it could be lack of success in our education, health, family peace, business, and etc.
You don't want to loose all your treasures due to some simple unrepentant sin. Let's get our lives right with God to prevent death on earth and eternal death (Hell)
