This Is How KCSE 2024 Exams will be graded

Out of 7 subjects which will be Graded, the 2 that you have scored highest will be selected first from the three Compulsory Subjects; Math's, English and Kiswahili.

Mathematics will be taken automatically and then one that is your highest performing of the two languages will be Chosen

Knec will then move on to select the remaining five subjects, again based on your highest scores.

These subjects can include Humanities and Sciences depending on your selection in the KNEC assesments

However, you should note that the individual grading scales for each subjects may vary as Expected in every Kcse Exam, based on performance and other factors known best to KNEC

Nevertheless, the Aggregate points(AGPT), which indicate the total number of Grade points based on seven subjects will remain consistent.

The Grading Scale, From A to E is As Follows:

• 81 to 84 points: A
• 74 to 80 points: A-
• 67 to 73 points: B+
• 60 to 66 points: B
• 53 to 59 points: B-
• 46 to 52 points: C+
• 39 to 45 points: C
• 32 to 38 points: C-
• 25 to 31 points: D+
• 18 to 24 points: D
• 11 to 17 points: D-
• 07 to 10 points: E ( the Lowest)

let me explain how grade changing works ✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️

There are two ways of changing kcse results.

1. Fixing before the release of exams
2. Changing after the release of exams.
Fixing the results before the release of exams is done during marking and processing in which the changes will be seen during the announcement time.

If you fix before the release of exams, this means that you will receive the fix results..for example if you were to get an E but you fix before the release of exams then you will receive your favourite grade as the main results like A.
This tends to be more expensive compared to changing results after release.

The second one is changing results after release.
This will take place anytime you are willing..
And we will change everything in the system and your certificate will come with the grade you want.

Fixing and changing of kcse results changing is a legit process but it's takes time and Work.
