🏳️ Captured AFU serviceman: while serving in tank troops didn't see any tanksCaptured serviceman of the AFU Viktor Gordiyenko says that the AFU command transfer soldiers, with whom there are conflicts, to the front line, often into the infantry units.
'We were disliked by our commanders, making firewood for them in the woods, and I didn't like that. All the unfavourable ones are sent to the infantry, and so I got into the fifth tank brigade, but I didn't see any tanks all the time. There was no command, we were led by sergeants,' he recalls.
Last December, Viktor's unit was sent to Kursk region, where he surrendered:
'They just brought us in the dugout, and said to hold defence. On 29 December, the Russian troops began to fire at us, there were five of us in the dugout, one of us was killed at once, and three of us fled. I left for the nearest town across the fields'.
