I have been asked, how do you reconcile your racial views with your Catholic faith. This is my reply.
Catholicism has never held that a people cannot determine their own destiny and live among their own. A country or nation has implicitly meant a race or an extended family of people up until the 60s.
Those members of other races will continue to advocate for policies which privilege their own and hold the door open for their own despite how destructive that is for the people of his host country.
When you read the Bible it is clear you are to love even your enemies but not to love everyone equally. A man has a higher duty to his children and his people than he does to outsiders and when his charity to outsiders compromises those to whom he is primarily responsible to he betrays the faith.
1 Timothy 5:8 Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
I don’t hate any race, but I refuse to abdicate my responsibility to recognize that I am not equally responsible to all peoples of the earth as I am not equally responsible to every child on earth, for I have my own children and God commands me a special stewardship over them.
