The Armed Forces of Ukraine have regained positions near Siversk, the enemy has advanced in four directions: ISW maps.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces recently regained previously lost positions in the Siversk direction. Geolocation footage released on December 26 shows that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have advanced into a windbreak north of Verkhnyokamyanske (east of Siversk).

The Russian "military commander" claimed that Russian troops had advanced up to 1 km towards Siversk and to Viymka from the south, but ISW found no confirmation.

A Russian blogger claimed that Putin's troops had allegedly cleared Ukrainian military positions in the area near the lake in the Pivtsynny microdistrict (the northern part of Chasovy Yar) and were advancing towards the central part of the microdistrict. However, ISW found no confirmation.

Russian troops continued their attacks in Chasovy Yar itself, near Hryhorivka, Ivanovsky, Kurdyumivka, Klishchiivka, Stupochok, Oleksandro-Shultynye, and Bila Hora.

The Ukrainian brigade operating in the area published footage on December 27 showing the Armed Forces of Ukraine shelling Russian armored vehicles near Kurdyumivka and reported repelling an enemy mechanized attack near the settlement.

Another Ukrainian Armed Forces brigade operating in the Chasovy Yar area published footage on December 27 showing Ukrainian defenders repelling a platoon-sized Russian mechanized assault near Ivanovske and Klishchiivka.

Russian bloggers reported that fighting was ongoing for a refractory plant in the center of Chasovy Yar.
