Clapping during concerts is becoming less common due to one hand always holding a phone.

Ever heard of a checkmate?

"From Dust to Diamonds"

(Verse 1)
This one’s for my students, my fans, and foes,
For everyone watchin' my highs and lows.
The name’s Ogabek, they call me Ogabek Teacher,
Came up from nothin', now I’m the main feature.

See, I was born in a world where dreams cost blood,
Where my hands met bricks, where I worked in mud.
They laughed at my vision, said I’d never teach,
But I flipped that script, now I’m outta reach.

(Chorus)
From dust to diamonds, yeah, I rose up high,
Took every scar and let it touch the sky.
They thought I’d fall, thought I’d break down,
But I’m here standin', wearin' my crown.

(Verse 2)
To my students out there, yeah, don’t let 'em decide,
What you’re worth, who you are, deep down inside.
They’ll try to say you can’t reach that peak,
But take it from Ogabek, even the quiet speak.

I know the feelin’ of bein' out in the cold,
Dreams in my head, but no hand to hold.
Used to think I was nothin’, lost in the noise,
Till I found my voice — now I teach with poise.

(Chorus)
From dust to diamonds, yeah, I rose up high,
Took every scar and let it touch the sky.
They thought I’d fall, thought I’d break down,
But I’m here standin', wearin' my crown.

(Bridge)
This one’s for the haters, the ones who lied,
Who laughed at Ogabek, who crushed my pride.
Thanks for the pain, thanks for the shove,
You taught me to fight, you taught me to love.

(Verse 3)
So to everyone doubted, yeah, look at me now,
From the dirt to the stage, I showed you how.
Every bruise, every loss turned to light,
I wear it with honor, I wear it with might.

Now I stand in front of the crowd, no fear,
With a voice they tried to silence, but now it’s clear.
I teach not just words, but strength from pain,
Showin' these kids that they can break chains.

(Chorus)
From dust to diamonds, yeah, I rose up high,
Took every scar and let it touch the sky.
They thought I’d fall, thought I’d break down,
But I’m here standin', wearin' my crown.

(Outro)
So to the dreamers, the fighters, the bold,
Take every shadow and turn it to gold.
Ogabek Teacher went from low to high,
And if I can, so can you — reach the sky.

Here you are

Absolutely. Here are a few insights that come through strongly from our interactions:

1. You Value Continuous Improvement

You’re always looking for ways to grow, both as a teacher and an individual. From seeking new vocabulary for your students to creating specific lesson plans and enhancing your own English skills, your commitment to excellence is clear. This isn’t just about reaching a certain score or standard; it’s about a genuine drive to improve.

2. You’re Adaptable and Open to Experimentation

You often look for ways to make lessons engaging, such as integrating podcasts, real-life scenarios, and discussions on diverse topics like solar energy and Mark Twain. This shows you’re open to trying new approaches and value a teaching style that adapts to students’ needs rather than sticking strictly to traditional methods.

3. You Have a Strong Sense of Responsibility

You take your roles seriously, whether it’s as an instructor, business owner, or mentor to your students. You focus on addressing students’ struggles with empathy, like when you wanted to help them overcome hesitation and fluency issues. This level of dedication indicates that you see teaching as more than a job; it’s a responsibility to guide, support, and understand your students on a personal level.

4. You’re a Deep Thinker with a Clear Purpose

Many of our conversations reflect a purposeful approach to life—whether you’re planning to improve your energy levels, conducting a dopamine detox, or refining your teaching strategies. This introspective nature shows that you don’t just go through the motions; you actively reflect on your actions and seek ways to align them with your goals.

5. You Have Resilience and Balance Multiple Roles Well

Balancing a university role with your own education center and working to improve both yourself and your students’ experiences requires resilience. You seem to thrive on being busy and productive, although you’re also aware of the need to take breaks, as seen in your interest in resetting sleep schedules and practicing mindfulness.

6. You’re Interested in Building Genuine Connections

From planning engaging lessons to reflecting on personal interactions (like the parent’s phone call or helping students build confidence), it’s clear that you value authentic relationships. You’re not just invested in what you teach but also in who you’re teaching and the impact you make on their lives.

If any of these resonate, they could be areas where you’re already strong, and perhaps some are qualities you’re still growing into. Let me know if you’d like to explore any of these further!

I saw a trend on social media where people were asking chatGPT to tell them something they probably didn’t know about themselves and tried it.

Are you interested in what it’s said to me?

How to stop worrying

If there is something that’s causing you to worry, that thing is there because you are not taking the necessary ACTION.

Most of what you do in life is done to avoid or stop worrying. Let me explain. For example,

1. If you learn to fight, you don’t have to worry about fighting anymore

2. If you become rich, you don’t have to worry about making money anymore

3. If you become fit and strong, you don’t have to worry about getting sick anymore

But to reach these goals, you need to take ACTION, so make sure you are doing that. So, what does it look like in practice?

Step one: Go home, sit down and find out what you are worried about, say “passing an IELTS exam” since most of you here are English students and teachers.

Step two: The reason you are worried about it is because, in 99% of the cases, you are not doing something you are supposed to do, that is, you are not doing your best. So, identify at least one thing you can do that can change the situation for the better and do it for the next 30 days, non-stop! You can’t take a break! It can be, for example, reading an article or finishing an English show like Friends.

Step three: Everyday before bed, write about A) how you feel about the whole thing whether you like it or not and B) how you feel about yourself.

Step four: Once you start making progress, try to add other useful actions you can take to eliminate your worries from your life.

Step five: Apply this 4-step formula to everything in your life and thank me later)

Stay tuned
