Z V O

Most reading this thread are aware that the start of the Russian Special Operation in Ukraine was dubbed Operation Z. You also are aware of all the Russian vehicles marked with Z…..some with V and some with O

These three letters designate specific groups with specific task.
These letters are also worn as patches by the soldiers in each group.

Z is the overall name, but is also phase 1 of the planned operation.
Phase 1 has been completed successfully.

V designates phase 2 which is ongoing at this time.

O is part of phase 2 and marks the end of each area of operation.

But there is more to Z V O than just group designation.

It is also a battle plan right in everyone's face.

Z Group

1. When the operation began we had 50,000 Russian troops cross into Ukraine from Belarus and move quickly to Kiev (Kyiv) to take up position. This was just a diversionary move to prevent Ukraine from sending reinforcements to the Donbass front. This worked quite well but was costly in Russian lives and equipment. After the Russians withdrew from Kiev they headed east to the boarder of Belarus.

2. Then after resupply and refuel the Russian forces moved south west to Mariupol where a 14,000 man strong Ukrainian force was defending. After the liberation of Mariupol only 1,000 AZOV and 400 foreign mercenaries remain underground and are soon to be killed or captured. The majority of the Russian forces then headed east to Donbass to refresh and resupply,

That marked the end of Phase 1.

Now if you lay out a map of Ukraine and Put a dot at Kiev (the start of Z) then put a dot at the boarder of Belarus and then put a dot at Mariupol and a dot at Donbass and then connect those 4 dots with lines you have the...letter Z.

V Group

Phase 2 began when the phase 1 forces arrived in Donbass and divided into 2 groups. After resupply and refreshing, One group moved to the northeast to re-enforce the east side of the Donbass line and the other group moved to the northwest to re-enforce the west side of the Donbass line.

Now...put a dot in southern Donbass where phase 2 began and put a dot to the northeast and a dot to the northwest...draw a line between the three dots and you have...the letter V.

O Group.

O is interesting as they wear a patch that is red with a white O on it.
Group O is made up of Russian Spetsnaz (Special Forces) They are light and fast moving deep recon and attack teams and their task is to recon and clear movement lanes for the main Russian forces to encircle the Ukrainian troops into a Cauldron (kill zone). O group scouts and sets up the “kill zone” of the Cauldrons.

The movement of encirclement by the main V group will begin after the artillery, missiles and rockets have pounded the Ukrainians into a mess which will be soon.

So if you were to draw the movement of Group O on a map you will have a circle...or an O. One other interesting thing...the Red background on the Group O patch. The red represents blood...or bloodbath…also referred to as “demilitarization”
