Blood & Soil
"As somebody who has only really started crossing over into nationalism over the past year or so, fully understanding the concept of blood and soil is perhaps something that I still have a lot to learn about; it was only last year that I started to abandon CivNat viewpoints, after all.
Most of what I have learned about the concept of blood and soil comes from a very strange place: China. I lived there for over 10 years and it was that experience that played a huge part in my gradual transition from someone who was very liberal to someone who is far more nationalist today.
I have decided to have a go at writing a piece about it. It is a rather long piece that discusses a lot of my observations about the Chinese people and how they made me realise that nationalism is not a hateful and evil philosophy, as described by many, but one that builds a strong country that one can proudly show off to the world..."
