💎 Stablecoin on TON

Steve Yun, President of TON Foundation, shared plans to launch a stablecoin on The Open Network (TON) blockchain.

The projected market capitalization is estimated at $10 billion.

💎 PAWS Without an Owner? Notcoin Denies Connection

Recently, BitGet released a video suggesting a connection between Notcoin and the PAWS project.

⚫️ What did Notcoin say? The team quickly dismissed the rumors, calling them "pure lies."

⚫️ And what about Dogs? The Dogs team also rushed to distance themselves from any association with PAWS.

🔝 Bottom line: PAWS remains a mystery, but one thing is clear — Notcoin and Dogs deny any involvement.

💎 DWF Labs and $20M for Memes

DWF Labs has announced the creation of a Meme Fund with an impressive $20M budget to support creative projects across various ecosystems.

⚫️ Why memes? Memecoins have evolved from jokes into legitimate financial assets. It seems DWF aims to ride this wave and set trends in TON and beyond.

⚫️ Which projects will they back? Details are scarce, but the fund is reportedly looking for unique concepts, creative approaches, and strong user engagement.

🔝 What does this mean for TON? We’re likely to see new tokens with powerful marketing campaigns reshaping the memecoin landscape.

💎 Mini Apps 2.0: A New Era by Durov

Pavel Durov has unveiled the biggest update for Telegram Mini Apps yet. Mini Apps 2.0 sets new standards for both developers and users:

🔝 What’s new?

⚫️ Full-screen mode — apps now feel like full-fledged programs.

⚫️ Paid subscriptions — monetize directly within mini apps.

⚫️ Home screen icons — quick access like regular mobile apps.

⚫️ Interactivity — send gifts, photos, and videos.

⚫️ New data access — developers can now utilize motion data and request geolocation.

⚫️ Status customization — emoji statuses for users.

⚫️ Document creation — streamlined tools for generating content.

This update promises to elevate Telegram Mini Apps to a whole new level.

Both Web2 and Web3 apps can now deliver unique user experiences that were previously only available with traditional mobile applications.

🤑 TON Insider 🤑

💎 Durov and Memhash: Coincidence or Support?

Several clues in Pavel’s latest post seem to point directly to Memhash: the launch date, app search ranking, paid game model, and even the hashtag emoji at the end.

⚫️ A Proven Connection: Telegram’s CEO has previously supported Roxman’s projects — buying @fabrika for 40K TON and handing over the username for Major. Their collaboration is a fact, not speculation.

🔝 What is Memhash? Memhash is a mining simulator styled after real crypto mining.

However, unlike Bitcoin, mining here is off-chain: no new blocks are created, and there’s no way to verify actual token mining.

On the upside, this makes it easier to attract a broader web2 audience on Telegram.

Of course, bugs come with growth: recently, developers fixed an issue where different players could mine the same block—a scenario impossible in real mining.

🔝 Mining in 2024? Why bother? Crypto remains appealing to the masses. Gamifying mining is a logical next step, especially in line with Telegram’s trends.

Durov hinted at new tools for games, even approving web2 projects with Stars. But strangely, @wallet and TON Memelandia seem sidelined.

For new games, players might only need Fragment to buy Stars or a CEX to cash out post-airdrop.

What about the promised mass adoption? Has web3 lost priority?

🔝 Stars: The New Donation Trend Stars have become a seamless way to micro-transact. 5–100 ⭐️ for bonuses? Barely noticeable.

Now comes Memhash, where mining without Stars is nearly pointless. Or Tiny Verse by Major’s creator—a cosmic Tamagotchi where renaming costs tens of thousands of ⭐️

⚫️ The Machine Runs Smoothly, But Stay Cautious

TON turns into Stars, Stars into dust. Brilliant, but keep an eye on your spending. Stars are spent effortlessly, without confirmations.

Think before diving into game donations. Some mechanics might be designed to increase your spending daily, making it harder to stop.

💎 The Evolution of TON Foundation’s Priorities

TON Foundation has consistently experimented with various approaches to boost its ecosystem, adapting strategies to meet the changing demands and goals of attracting new users.

⚫️ Spring 2024: The ecosystem was thriving—TON token prices surged, the clicker game genre was revived, and The Open League awarded generous prizes: $2.8M in the first season and $3.275M in the second.

⚫️ April Hackathon: TON Foundation launched The Open League Hackathon with a prize pool of $2.28M.

An additional 11M TON was allocated to boost TON/USDt pools, pushing the ecosystem’s TVL to a peak of $770M.

However, as soon as rewards dried up, users withdrew funds, chasing higher APRs elsewhere.

⚫️ Shift to DeFi: In the fall, Hackers League Hackathon was introduced with $3M in prizes.

Expenditures for The Open League were cut back: now rewards are mainly for marketing campaigns and audits.

The token competition transformed into TON Memelandia, focusing on the growth of memecoins.

⚫️ Grants for Meme Pads: Yesterday, it was revealed that $5M in grants would be allocated to support meme pads — exceeding the combined rewards of The Open League’s sixth season and TON Memelandia.

However, only platforms with ready solutions are eligible for these grants, signaling a shift in TON Foundation’s focus towards commercially viable projects.

🔝 What Does This Mean?

The evolving reward dynamics highlight TON Foundation’s pursuit of optimal strategies.

In some cases, funding comes directly from the Foundation, while in others, venture funds step in.

The ultimate goal remains: attract and retain users within the ecosystem.

💎 The Fine Line of Faith in TON

After The Gateway, where TON’s ecosystem shone with impressive numbers and achievements, the number of "believers" has noticeably grown.

⚫️ A week later: The chats are buzzing. Some are thrilled about TON's future and strongly support it, while others continue to criticize it despite the positive metrics.

And yes, everyone believes in TON in their own way.

Some see $250 per token, others — 900 million users. Some trust in the speed and reliability of the blockchain, while others put their faith in its founder, convinced he can’t go wrong.

⚫️ Faith varies: TON could be the best blockchain with a token priced at $1. Or users might flood in from Telegram, but performance could take a hit.

It’s also possible that Telegram could distance itself from TON entirely, but the blockchain would continue to operate.

🔝 The key takeaway: Everyone has their own belief. Debating among yourselves won’t lead to a universal truth. Perhaps, together, all these visions can be realized. Or maybe not.

💎 Dune Now Supports TON

🔝 The popular analytics platform Dune has added support for TON.

⚫️ Why it matters: Dune enables users to access blockchain data through SQL queries. Now, analysts familiar with other networks can easily transition to TON while using their preferred tools.

⚫️ What about Tonalytica? The TON ecosystem already had its own analytics service, but its development has ceased, leaving room for Dune to take over.

💎 Surrealism in GameFi: New Collab from Notcoin and Sheidlina

At The Gateway 2024, a new game from Notcoin was announced in collaboration with renowned artist Ellen Sheidlina.

If predictions hold true, Kokorono Ki (Soul of the Tree) will be the fifth and final game from Not Games in 2024.

⚫️ Announcement at The Gateway

The game’s cover was showcased on slide 31 of Notcoin’s presentation.

While project details remain under wraps, the theme is clear — surrealism.

The foundation lies in vivid imagery tied to the subconscious, subjective, and even irrational perception of reality.

🔝 Who is Ellen Sheidlina?

Sheidlina is a Russian artist known for her surreal photos and videos shared on Instagram.

She boasts 4.3 million followers, including global stars like Gigi Hadid and Emma Roberts.

Regular collaborations with top-tier brands such as BMW, Nike, Moncler, and Gucci further cement her status.

Her interview with Yuri Dud last year garnered over 4 million views. She was also featured in Forbes’ 30 Under 30.

⚫️ Connection with TON

Previously, Sheidlina collaborated with TON Diamonds, releasing the NFT collection Annihilation, one of whose holders is Pavel Durov.

He was also spotted attending one of her exhibitions.

Now, Notcoin, led by Sasha Plotvinov, takes the stage.

Following the success of piano concerts and Not Contest, the team is preparing a full-fledged art game with a unique surreal style.

🔝 Awaiting the Release

Kokorono Ki is already generating buzz, and it seems we’re in for something truly extraordinary.

Art is making its mark in the TON ecosystem.

💎 Warning: Europe loves surprises

This fall is heating up with crypto events in Europe, including Crypto AI in Lisbon (November 8-10) and the European Web3 Summit in Brussels (November 20-21).

If you’re planning a trip, make sure you're ready not only for the events but also for payments (read the warning at the end).

If, like us, you’re into $TON, for payments in the EU, you should check out TonHub.

This non-custodial wallet lets you open a virtual Visa linked to your $TON or $USDT balance, making payments stress-free. And we’ve tested TonHub ourselves.

💎 Test-drive results:

Registration took us 5 minutes, KYC — up to an hour, and voilà, the virtual card was in the wallet. Simple and quick.

We topped up the balance in $TON, and instantly transferred and received funds. No hidden fees — just what you allow.

🔝 And what about the fees? We paid for dinner and shopping in the EU, with fees of only 1-1.5%. We barely noticed a difference in price, hard to believe it’s real.

TonHub is currently available only in Europe (requires Euro ID), but rumors suggest it will be coming to the CIS soon. Holders are working on integrating TrustWallet and TonKeeper. You can already queue up to be first in line for the CIS release.

🔝 Warning: As we know from the summer news, Europe is full of surprises.

You could find yourself in a rare film-like situation with grounded flights (very rare), or face the more common issues of account freezes or astronomical fees (so hurt).

But there’s always a choice: suffer or opt for TonHub. Download links for you:

Enjoy, and don’t say we didn’t warn you! 💎

💎 TON Browser — launched quietly

It turns out TON Browser is already live — and it’s the Telegram Browser.

Core developer Anatoly Makosov (AKA Tolia Enot) shared this update at The Gateway, and here’s what stands out:

🔝 Telegram Browser = TON Browser? Yes, according to Anatoly, it’s essentially TON Browser.

The roadmap’s minimum goals are covered, but a desktop version? For now, no promises.

TON Core is focused on other priorities, and TON DNS is on hold too.

⚫️ New Goals: The team is currently working on technical solutions to increase network limits, building on their 108.4k TPS record.

Anatoly says this will multiply TON’s capabilities several times over.

🔝 TON Internet: No groundbreaking releases are expected just yet.

The main strategy is to add new features gradually as the team finds time.

There’s potential, though: the .ton domain could one day support mini-apps, similar to web2.

⚫️ Ball’s in the Community’s Court: Now, with TON Browser embedded in Telegram, the community has the stage — the network is ready for new pages, content, and applications.

🔝 Idea to Ponder: Anatoly also proposed an interesting feature for TON wallets: a personalized greeting with the user’s attached domain name. Imagine:

"Welcome back, Enot [.ton]"

It’s a touch of personalization for services and a bit more friendliness for users.

💎 Monetization in Telegram: Announcements vs Reality

Pavel Durov announced the launch of ads in games on Telegram's mini-app platform, but full-fledged monetization still seems far from being fully realized.

🔝 Earnings at a Minimum: Major channels confirm that $TON rewards for content have dropped to a bare minimum, barely providing income for creators. As a result, monetization remains limited, which doesn’t bode well for content creators’ earnings.

⚫️Ad Approval Issues: Advertisers report that their applications have been "pending" for weeks without approval. This could be due to stricter moderation after the situation with Durov or a shortage of moderators.

The announcements and promises remain far from actual monetization in Telegram.

💎 USDT on TON: 670% Growth in Six Months

According to CryptoQuant analyst Burak Kesmedji, the volume of Tether (USDT) transactions on the TON blockchain has exceeded $1 billion.

🔝 Over the past six months, this figure has surged by an impressive 670%.

⚫️ What does this mean? More and more TON users are choosing Tether, signaling consistent interest in TON as a platform for stablecoins.

Let's not forget that Tether has been making frequent headlines lately.

💎 Hamster Kombat: Are Players Leaving?

Over the past three months, #HMSTR has been losing players at an unprecedented rate: from nearly 300 million in July to 41 million in November.

🔝 This drop of 259 million users is a real earthquake for the project.

⚫️ What went wrong? Perhaps users got bored with the mechanics, or the competition proved to be stronger. For a project that once dominated the TON ecosystem, this is a serious challenge.

Meanwhile, other project listings are coming up soon — check out our calendar for details.

💎 What’s Inside Memelandia?

Not long ago, TON Memelandia launched — a “free space ruled by memes”... And now the contests for memecoins have begun: Cabal Arena and Memecoin Mountain.

🔝 Memecoin Mountain — the battlefield for established memecoins.

Here are the participants:

Dog, Duck, another Dog, Paper Airplane, Cat, Girl Parodying the Dog, Fish, another Cat, Durov, a Piece of Trash, Durov again, Duck, another Cat, a Sad Cat, Gentleman, Duck yet again, Coffee (spelled wrong), and another Piece of Trash... That’s the heart of Memelandia for you 👏

⚫️ Cabal Arena (the mysterious battleground) is a contest where teams of up to 100 participants (wallets) are tasked with launching 4 memecoins, trading, and milking the audience for all they’ve got.

In Cabal Arena, you can trade tokens of all participants, all while battling a market maker who’s out to outsmart everyone.

Every week, teams are required to create a new themed token, leaving previous ones at the mercy of the market — capital growth is key.

The memecoin’s ranking will depend on the number of holders, so expect either mass spam campaigns or unknown tokens with thousands of bot holders — all clutching just this one “masterpiece.”

Welcome to TON’s epic meme battle.

💎 DOOM, Bums — ready for full-screen

Pavel Durov announced new strategic updates for Telegram mini-apps, including a full-screen mode that will allow developers to create games that could potentially compete with apps in the App Store and Google Play.

As examples, Durov highlighted full-screen designs for DOOM and Bums.

🔝 DOOM in Telegram: The first studio to port a game to Telegram was Axiom Game Labs.

Their project practically exploded within the TON community, attracting over 200k players in just one week — without any promises of airdrops or mining mechanics!

⚫️ But what about Bums? While the choice of DOOM makes sense, the selection of the clicker game Bums raises questions. Why Bums over something like Not Pixel or Lost Dogs by Notcoin?

Previously, Durov mentioned projects like Notcoin, Hamster Kombat, and Catizen — all with high user engagement or substantial donations. But what criteria landed Bums on this list?

Yes, Bums has quality artwork and a strong MAU of 12M users.

But for the clicker genre, which many have grown tired of, that might not be enough. We reached out to a representative of the game for more insight.

Comment from NexusVerse: According to Alex, Bums’ inclusion may be linked to previous collaborations with Notcoin and Not Pixel.

Furthermore, TOP’s CEO, Andrey Rogozov, showcased a slide at The Gateway featuring nine games post-Notcoin, including Bums.

The unique artwork of the project may have also played a part in Telegram’s selection.

⚫️ Full-Screen Experience: Both DOOM and Bums are designed to provide immersive gameplay in full-screen.

Telegram is clearly pushing forward in the GameFi sector.

Now, it’s not only mini-apps with web3 elements but also classic web2 mobile games.

This could signal Telegram’s shift away from complete TON integration to circumvent traditional marketplace limitations and promote its in-app currency, Telegram Stars.

💎 Big Announcements at The Gateway — But There Are None

The first day of TON’s annual conference passed quietly, with none of the anticipated big announcements.

🔝 Recap and Updates: Most of the goals and plans were shared last year, and this year’s conference feels more like a mid-term report, showcasing only peak (note: peak) achievements.

⚫️ Widening Distance from Telegram: Steve Yun’s remarks hinted at upcoming organizational shifts, and in CEO Andrey Rogozov’s speech, a clear separation between Telegram and TON was noticeable.

Pavel Durov, who once promised TON giveaways within Telegram channels, now seems fully focused on Stars and Premium. TON is no longer needed for bots, payments, or giveaways. It seems the stars are here to stay.

⚫️ Pseudo-Support from Telegram: Rogozov announced token and NFT giveaways via @wallet. At first glance, this seems like support for TON, but in reality, it’s just another bot-based giveaway with no real innovation—just another way for TOP to make money off users.

⚫️ Promises Without Confirmation: At the end of his speech, Rogozov encouraged everyone to follow Durov’s channel, promising a post about @wallet and its new features. Yet, as of now, Durov has posted nothing. My earlier suggestion that the @wallet agreement may not have been renewed seems more likely than ever.

💎 Blum Co-Founder Supports PAWS

When directly asked about the origins of the PAWS mini-app, Vladimir Smerkis expressed support for the project:

"We support them just as [we did] with DOGS."

🔝 Previously, Smerkis’s official channel featured a paw sticker, followed by a post with a link to PAWS.

⚫️ PAWS is literally exploding on the TON network: the project’s channel already has 6 million subscribers, and 11 million users have joined the bot within just 5 days, making it one of the most rapid launches on TON.

It seems that the classic marketing tactic of intrigue is still working to attract users.
