However, we all know that a device updated to Android 15 by the community is often more secure than a device running Android 11 with outdated security patches abandoned by the manufacturer.

The primary issue with this situation is clear: it's a monopolistic practice by Google to maintain its dominant position in the Android ecosystem.

Interestingly, the European Union is already aware of this. While not currently a top priority, the EU is treating this situation as supplementary information for ongoing investigations into Google's monopolistic practices.

As a European citizen, I dream of gathering a group of passionate individuals, collecting testimonials and signatures to demonstrate to the EU how crucial this issue is to us.

Fix WhatsApp Need Official

Hal yang perlu diperhatikan:
• Rom tersebut wajib passed untuk MEETS_BASIC_INTEGRITY dan MEETS_DEVICE_INTEGRITY (tidak wajib MEETS_STRONG_INTEGRITY). Jika belum pass, Anda perlu install module Play Integrity Fix
• Hindari penggunaan atau login menggunakan WhatsApp Mod
• Jika menggunaan Rom berbasis LineageOS, wajib menginstall module Sensitive Props
• Lebih baik untuk melakukan fresh install pada WhatsApp, atau hapus data terlebih dahulu jika bukan fresh install

1. Fix dengan Tricky Store:
• Download Module: Zygisk Next, Shamiko, Tricky Store
• Install Module via Magisk, KernelSU, atau APatch
• Reboot Sistem
• Buka File Manager yang mendukung Root, ke /data/adb/tricky_store/ di target.txt masukkan package com.whatsapp (khusus Device TEE Broken, Anda perlu menambahkan "!" di belakang package), Done!

2. Fix dengan LSPosed:
• Download LSPosed: LSPosed Mod, LSPosed No Log, LSPosed npm, LSPosed JingMatrix, LSPosed-Irena (Bebas mau pilih yang mana, untuk varian pilih yang Zygisk)
• Aktifkan Zygisk pada pengaturan app Magisk, Untuk pengguna KernelSU/APatch gunakan Zygisk-Next
• Install LSPosed via Magisk, KernelSU, atau APatch
• Reboot Sistem

Menggunakan Bootloader Spoofer:
• Install Module LSPosed yang bernama Bootloader Spoofer
• Aktifkan module Bootloader Spoofer di aplikasi LSPosed
• Ceklis Kerangka Kerja Sistem, serta WhatsApp di Bootloader Spoofer
• Optimalkan ulang module Bootloader Spoofer
• Reboot Sistem

Menggunakan Wa Enhancer:
• Install Module LSPosed yang bernama Wa Enhancer
• Aktifkan module Wa Enhancer di aplikasi LSPosed
• Ceklis Kerangka Kerja Sistem, serta WhatsApp di Wa Enhancer

• Buka Wa Enhancer > Umum > Umum > ceklis Bootloader Spoofer

• Pilih salah satu antara cara pertama atau kedua
• Direkomendasikan backup WhatsApp menggunakan Swift Backup sebelum ganti Rom agar tidak terkena WhatsApp Need Official

Fix WhatsApp Need Official

Things to be noted:
• The Rom must pass MEETS_BASIC_INTEGRITY and MEETS_DEVICE_INTEGRITY (not required MEETS_STRONG_INTEGRITY). If it doesn't pass, you need to install the Play Integrity Fix module.
• Avoid using or login using WhatsApp Mod
• If you are using a LineageOS based Rom, it is mandatory to install Sensitive Props module.
• It's better to do a fresh install on WhatsApp, or clear the data first if not fresh install.

1. Fix with Tricky Store:
• Download Module: Zygisk Next, Shamiko, Tricky Store
• Install Module via Magisk, KernelSU, or APatch
• Reboot System
• Open File Manager that support Root, go ro /data/adb/tricky_store/ in target.txt add com.whatsapp package (specifically for Broken TEE Devices, you need to add "!" behind the package), Done!

2. Fix with LSPosed:
• Download LSPosed: LSPosed Mod, LSPosed No Log, LSPosed npm, LSPosed JingMatrix, LSPosed-Irena (feel free to choose which version you want, for variant choose Zygisk)
• Enable Zygisk in Magisk app settings, For KernelSU/APatch users use Zygisk-Next
• Install LSPosed via Magisk, KernelSU, or APatch
• Reboot System

Using Bootloader Spoofer:
• Install Bootloader Spoofer
• Enable Bootloader Spoofer in LSPosed app
• Tick System Framework and WhatsApp in Bootloader Spoofer
• Re-optimize Bootloader Spoofer
• Reboot System

Using Wa Enhancer:
• Install Wa Enhancer
• Enable Wa Enhancer in LSPosed app
• Tick System Framework and WhatsApp in Wa Enhancer
• Re-optimize Wa Enhancer
• Reboot System
• Open WhatsApp and don't clear it from Recent so that WhatsApp keeps running in background
• Open Wa Enhancer > General > General > tick Bootloader Spoofer

NOTES:
• Choose either the first or second method
• It is recommended to backup WhatsApp using Swift Backup before changing ROM to avoid getting WhatsApp Need Official
• This method works for some people including me, but it does not guarantee that it will work for everyone.

How to pass MEETS_STRONG_INTEGRITY

Things to be noted:
• For Custom Rom based on AOSP/LineageOS, recommended using Rom that has built-in feature to Disable Play Integrity Fix, then turn off the feature, or use a Rom that does not have many Patch/Spoof in Framework
• Make sure you have Unrevoked Hardware keybox.xml, to make sure the keybox.xml has been revoked or not, use KeyboxCheckerPython, if you don't have a valid keybox, you can get it from @FreeKeyboxShare
• Check your TEE is broken or not, how to find out whether your TEE is broken or not? Download DRM Info app, open the DRM Info app then scroll down, in the Widevine CDM section if the Security Level is L1 means your TEE is not broken, if L3 means your TEE is broken

Steps:
• Download Module: Zygisk Next, Play Integrity Fix, Tricky Store, Shamiko (Optional)
• Install Module via Magisk, KernelSU, or APatch
• Reboot System
• Open File Manager that support Root, then move the keybox.xml to /data/adb/tricky_store/
• Especially for TEE Broken Device (Skip this step if your TEE is not Broken), you need to add "!" after the package name in target.txt manually, or you can use my target.txt from me, or you can run target.sh via X-Plore app, or you can run the CMD below via Termux app:
su -c pm list packages | awk -F':' '{print $2 "!"}' > /data/adb/tricky_store/target.txt
• Clear Playstore data, then go to PlayStore settings > Tap 5x PlayStore Version > General > Developer Options > Check Integrity, Done! Now the Integrity MEETS_STRONG_INTEGRITY

Especially for the latest build AOSPA/PixelOS/GenesisOS users, you need to run CMD below via Termux app, then Reboot
• AOSPA:
su
setprop persist.sys.pihooks.disable.gms_props true
setprop persist.sys.pihooks.disable.gms_key_attestation_block true
• PixelOS/GenesisOS:
su -c setprop persist.sys.pihooks.disable.gms_key_attestation_block true

NOTES:
• Tricky Store Module only works for Android A12 and above! Now Tricky Store Support Android 10+ in latest update
• For Magisk users, recommended using Magisk Canary or Magisk Alpha
• Always update your Module!
