Uzbekistan Enters Top 3 Fast-Growing Economies in Europe and Central Asia in 2024 — World Bank
In 2024, Uzbekistan became the third country in terms of the highest GDP growth among more than 20 countries with emerging market and developing economies in the Europe and Central Asia region, according to the World Bank report.
The highest GDP growth is observed in Georgia (7.5%), Tajikistan (7.2%), Uzbekistan (6%), Kyrgyzstan (5.8%) and Armenia (5.5%).
According to forecasts for 2025, Uzbekistan can become the leader in economic growth in the region with an expected GDP increase of 5.8%, and in 2026 - by 5.9%.
