🧛 A debut that skipped the humble part
Rebel Wolves — a Warsaw studio founded by Witcher 3 director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz and fellow CD Projekt RED veterans — shipped their first game on September 3. The Blood of Dawnwalker is an open-world dark fantasy RPG: medieval Europe, a hero who's human by day and vampire by night.
48 hours later: one million copies sold. For a debut studio launching a brand-new IP, that's less of a milestone and more of a provocation.
IGN gave it a 9/10. Bandai Namco is already teasing a multi-century saga. Tomaszkiewicz promises every installment will be fully standalone — no cliffhangers, no "to be continued."
Turns out the Witcher years were not a fluke.
