As a follow-up to the American Freedom Party's letter sent last week to Waukesha Police Chief Dan Thompson and District Attorney Sue Opper, I reached out to both for update and comment. As expected, my calls were answered and subsequently forwarded to voicemail. Today I received a return call from a Lieutenant with the Waukesha Police Department. He informed me Chief Thompson generally isn't responding to inquiries directly. I asked the Lieutenant if their department had any comments regarding Darrell Brooks' racial animus against White people discovered within his rap music and contained on his social media. I also asked if it was their department's policy to investigate hate crimes without establishment, politically correct bias--specifically if it was their department's policy that blacks can commit hate crimes against Whites. The Lieutenant dodged the questions and complained about various interested parties calling to demand this and that. He further stated the department is going to continue the investigation based upon the facts. I pressed him again that there is evidence of racial animus against White people, then asked him if his department was gathering this racial rhetoric into its investigation. He made a blanket statement that they are looking at everything.
Can we count on Chief Thompson, a non-White man, to thoroughly investigate and include Brooks' racial animus against Whites in his department's investigation? Can we count on Waukesha Mayor Shawn Reilly to ensure his police department is operating under good faith? Of note, the Lieutenant I spoke with cautioned me about making politically-motivated demands. I found this particularly comical given the politically-motivated policing we've seen throughout the country as it pertains to so-called "white supremacists" or "facists." We've seen the Charlottesville Police intentionally create chaos to seemingly deprive White people of their Constitutional right to free assembly. We've seen Denver Police intentionally stand down, allowing leftists free rein to attack. In this anti-White environment, we are no longer able to just give agencies the benefit of the doubt. While the full investigation report will be critical to the full slate of charges filed against Darrell Brooks, the prosecutor's office wields the power to ultimately bring forth the hate crime charges. I look forward to speaking with the DA's office about Brooks' anti-White rhetoric...
