The black night whispers, a secret untold, A story of shadows, a world of night's hold. Easy, you think, to be always unseen? But darkness may sigh, with a burden unseen.
My heart, curious, wanted to peek and to know, Why the dark held so tight, why it wouldn't let go.
Could I mend the darkness, chase shadows away? Instead, I reached out, and darkness did stay.
It wrapped me in silence, a blanket so deep, A stillness that hushed, where secrets could sleep. So vast and so quiet, it held all at once, A shallow touch near, and a distance unknown.
But a peace settled in, a hush that felt kind, Like a lullaby sung, where worries unwind.
The darkness, no monster, but a friend, I now see, A canvas of midnight, for dreams to set free.
Is Darkness real DARK???
I wondered....
