About the Shaykh

🔹He is the virtuous Shaykh, the influential and eloquent preacher, the Khaṭīb of Ahlussunnah wal-Jamaʿah, the well-known caller, the firm and zeolous Salafi.

🔹He was born in Dhamar Governorate, Atmah District, a district he named “Zar” village. He was born in 1976 AD.

🔹He benefited from Imām Muqbil Al-Wādiʿī رحمه الله. He loved Islamic knowledge and loved the Salafi call and he used to visit the Dār al-Ḥadīth in Dammaj during every summer vacation, and he would stay until the summer vacation ended and then he would return to his work because he was and still is an employee in the Ministry of Education.

🔹Shaykh Fatḥ Al-Qadasī in the lesson of “Al-Balāghah Al-Wādiḥah” (The Clear Eloquence) in Dammāj, when he was asked: Who is the most eloquent Salafi among the preachers and lecturers? Shaykh Fatḥ -may Allāh preserve him- said: “Shaykh ʿAbdul-Ghanī al-ʿUmarī, he is considered the preacher of Ahlussunnah wal-Jamaʿah, he is eloquent and conveys what he wants to convey in full to the listener and recipient with ease.”

📜Statement from the Royal Court

In accordance with the #Sunnah of our Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ to perform the Istisqāʾ prayer, the Custodian of the Ḥaramain, King Salman bin ʿAbdul ʿAzīz Āl #Saʿūd - حفظه الله - has called for performing the Istisqāʾ prayer throughout the Kingdom on Thursday, corresponding to the 26th of Jumādā Al-Ūlā 1446 AH according to the Umm al-Qurā calendar. Everyone should increase their repentance, seeking forgiveness, and returning to Allāh - سبحانه -, and be kind to His servants and increase their voluntary acts of worship, such as charity, prayers, and remembrances, and make things easy for Allāh’s servants and relieve their distress. Perhaps Allāh may relieve us and facilitate what we hope for. Everyone who is able should be keen to perform the prayer, in accordance with the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ and to show their need for Allāh ﷻ, while insisting in supplication, as Allāh loves His servants to increase their supplication and insistence in it. We ask Allāh - جلت قدرته - to have mercy on the country and its people, to answer the prayers of His servants, and to make what He sends down a mercy for them and provision for a period. He is the All-Hearing, All-Answering.
