2 Fellowships at the Institute for Global Reconstitution
The Institute for Global Reconstitution, hosted by Bard College Berlin, invites applications for 2 part-time research fellowships for the projects ‘Democratic Reconstitution of Economy’ and ‘The Limits of Extractivism’. The duration of the fellowship is limited to 4 months (15 October 2024 - 15 February 2025).
Field of research
A fellow is expected to take part in one of the Institute's research projects:
1. ‘Democratic Reconstitution of Economy’ is a project that reconsiders the main challenges in the global economy, characterized by growing inequality, a reduction of creativity, environmental challenges to growth, and international tensions. The project re-examines basic economic visions alternative to the economic mainstream and political neoliberalism, focusing on building a model suitable for Russia and its position in the geo-economic structure.
2. ‘The Limits of Extractivism’ is a project that develops new and creative scenarios of green transformation – both in Russia and globally – that will move us away from an extractivist economy toward a more inclusive, sustainable, and resilient socioeconomic and political model.
