I added a step 7, makes the colours brighter. now i hope this pic looks better on phone. by now, i'm guessing that those pics looks different when you open them in pc and phone, coz pc screen gives off brighter light. it might be obvious to some of you, but it's something I just realised now

I know some people here are also into drawing. And though I'm more confident in my writing than my drawing, some have asked me for advice in drawings... I hope this little sharing on how I do my drawing can give you something to learn. even if it's just 1exp to add to your 1000000000 exp bar to fill

step 1 — main poses and positions
step 2 — detailing sketch
step 3 — lining (so you see, I made two steps in sketching, that's how I got clean lineart)
step 4 — base colour
step 5 — shading (and eyes too, which takes me like five or six layers)
step 6 — finishing, special effects on the linearts (see the final drawing)
step 7 — if ever needed, editing the level and hues and whatnot...

Hm... Remind me to post the lineart for comparison. Coz now I'm checking my phone, I realize that I can't see Hunter's hair clearly

Also, a headcannon for this pic:
You can see that Ryu's using pink hair tie. I imagine while living together, he wouldn't have problem borrowing Hunter's hair ties, but for some reason, Hunter doesn't really like wearing Ryu's hair ties... It doesn't really apparent here, but she actually half-tying her hair at the back
