My faults are mine

My faults are mine, and I embrace them with pride,
They shape me, they guide, they cannot be denied.
I don't need to drag and hide, in shadows of shame,
Instead, I'll learn and grow, a better version I'll reclaim.

Let me decide, which paths to tread,
To improve and soar, to dreams I'll be led.
What to improve and why, I'll introspect,
Seeking wisdom within, my soul will connect.

Nothing is going wrong in my mind,
In self-belief and strength, solace I find.
I don't care about your opinion, for it's my own,
Overthinking of mine, I've overthrown.

On the basis of people's queries, who and why?
I won't be swayed, nor will I comply.
Let them cast doubts, attempt to pry,
I stand firm, unaffected by their sly.

But I don't think I need any highlights,
For my worth is defined by my own insights.
Let them unveil their truth, with lots of fake try,
In authenticity, my spirit will soar high.

Mend Friend's Intend
Never desert a friend, in times of storm or rain,
Through ups and downs, our bond shall remain.
It is bad intent, to let connections fade,
In loyalty and trust, we find the escapade.

Don't follow this trend, of turning away,
Stand strong together, come what may.
You have to end the distend, heal the divide,
Rekindle the flame, let compassion guide.

Don't pretend, that nothing's amiss,
Address the issues, with a heartfelt kiss.
Let not to be unfriend, the ties we share,
For true friendships, are truly rare.

You're my best friend, a treasure so dear,
In laughter and tears, always be near.
You need to mend your intent, make amends,
For in the circle of friendship, love transcends.

ONE MISTAKE

One day the teacher wrote the following on the blackboard:

When he finished and looked at the students, they all laughed at him.

Then the teacher said:

-I intentionally wrote the first equation wrong because I wanted you to learn something important.
I wanted to show how the world would treat you.
I wrote CORRECT 9 times, but none of you praised me for it.
You all laughed at me and criticized me for just one wrong example.

The world will never appreciate you for the good things you have done millions of times.
But he will turn his back on you for just one mistake.

THE RIGHT TEACHING

Once, there was a renowned monk 👳‍ who lived in a beautiful monastery 🕍 with many of his pupils 👨‍👦 . His teachings were known to be very effective and many of his students grew up to become great masters themselves.

One day, one of them was caught stealing from his fellow-students ‍‍👦 and they reported him to the monk 👳‍. But he took no action against the boy.

A few days later the same boy 👦was again caught stealing. And again the head monk 👳‍ did nothing to punish him.

This angered the other students who drew up a petition asking for the dismissal of the thief. They threatened to leave en masse if the boy was allowed to stay in the monastery.

The teacher 👳‍ called a meeting of the students. When they had assembled, he said to them: “You are good boys who know what is right and what is wrong. If you leave, you will have no trouble in joining some other school. But what about your brother who does not even know the difference between right and wrong? Who will teach him if I don’t? No, I cannot ask him to go even if it means losing all of you.”

Tears coursed down the cheeks of the boy who had stolen. He never stole again and in later life became renowned for his integrity.
