When you make big life decisions, don’t listen to the people closest to you, listen to the people closest to your goals.

Find what works.

Do more of what works.

Find the thing preventing you from doing more of what works.

Solve it.

Do more of what works.

Repeat.

How I remember my customer objectives:

“The 4Rs”

Retain: keep paying
Review: leave a testimonial/review
Refer: send other people
Resell: buy other stuff

Save for next time you create a customer journey.

If you’re an entrepreneur, you need to memorize this response:

“That’s an amazing idea. It’s not a priority right now. But I will add it to our big ideas list. Thank you for sharing it.”

Businesses rarely die from a lack of good ideas. They die from a lack of good execution.

How to get really really ridiculously rich:

1) Learn everything you can about marketing from direct response marketers.

2) Then, forget everything they tell you about everything else.

3) Then learn everything you can about product from software bros.

4) Then use 1 on 3

If you want to beat someone, just try 10x harder than them. You only really need to try 2-3x harder. But you probably don’t realize how much harder they’re trying than you. So try 10x harder - just to make sure you win.

They will make fun of you for going to the event, listening and taking notes from the podcasts, saving up to buy a course, or help.

And by the time you prove them wrong, you realize their life is proof enough you were right

And you have nothing left to do but keeping doing you.

The better you do, the more people will criticize your tradeoffs because it makes them feel justified about the risks they didn’t take and the work they didn’t do.

When you start a business everything is hard & inefficient.

You have: No skills. No money. No friends.

You only have time.

And you have to invest time inefficiently to become efficient. You can’t skip it.

It’s what creates the skill, money & connections that makes it easy.

You only need to get rich once. So you might as well work as hard as you can to get it done as fast as you can.

The hard work of entrepreneurship is the failure that you're inevitably going to encounter by not knowing what you're doing and then taking action steps despite that, with the idea that you will eventually succeed if you don't stop.

You’d be amazed how much better you get after you’ve done it a hundred more times.

If you wanna win, do it again.

If you’re trying to start a business:

Just. Find. Shit. People. Already. Buy. And. Sell. It.

You can figure out passion purpose etc after you learn the basics.

Make a profit. Then get cute.

But you may realize you find you’re passionate about making a profit.

2 birds.

The biggest cause of staying poor isn’t missing opportunities. It’s not taking advantage of the ones you’ve got.

The ladder of success isn’t meant to be comfortable. There isn’t enough room to hang around. You only have enough space to plant one foot, risk your weight, and take your next step up. Keep moving and don’t look down.

Growth is stressful.
Stagnation is stressful.
Decline is stressful.

The only “100% stress free” people…are dead people.

Keep living ✊🏽

Successful people see opportunity in every failure.

Normal people see failure in every opportunity.

Both are right. One gets rich.

Our destiny is determined by our actions not our origins.
