GRIEF has been placed at #1, above Artemis 13, with a list percent of 66%, making it the new Hardest Demon in Geometry Dash and ending a 24 days reign of Artemis 13. This change pushes Flamewall out of the top-5, Fracture into the Extended List and Verdant Landscape into the Advanced List.

Prismline has been raised from #64 to #52, above The Salt Factory and below CHIL.

Based on the opinions of three players, who have beaten the level, the following statements were determined:
— one of these three players, who has beaten KOCMOC and CHIL, found the level to be easier than KOCMOC and approximately equal to CHIL in terms of difficulty;
— the second player, a Sakupen Circles victor, claimed that Prismline is harder than Sakupen Circles;
— the third player, a KOCMOC victor, believes that Prismline is harder than KOCMOC.

Based on these statements and comparisons, we have concluded that raising Prismline to #52, right below CHIL, is currently the logical conclusion.

Checked Steam has been lowered from #128 to #135, above UNKNOWN and below BPATA MPAKA.

This change is based on the 12 opinions gathered, each of which had its own factors and biases. Due to the extremely gimmicky nature of Checked Steam's gameplay, the opinions varied significantly, with some difficulty ranges being considerably further apart than would normally be expected. Nevertheless, the modified arithmetic mean resulted in #135, indicating that Checked Steam is somewhat overrated at its current position. Comparisons with other levels in that difficulty range, such as Tartarus and UNKNOWN, also align well with this position.

Based on this result, we have concluded that #135 is the most appropriate placement for Checked Steam at this time.

Operation Evolution has been raised from #107 to #96, above PSYCHOPATH and below Mayhem.

This raise is based on the 15 opinions gathered, each of which had its own factors and biases. Despite the lack of reliable comparisions with other levels in that difficulty range, the opinions generally indicated that Operation Evolution is slightly underrated on the list. Given the specific nature of the level's gameplay, we have concluded that #96 is the most appropriate placement for Operation Evolution at the time.

FOREST OF SPIKES has been placed at #30, above Abyss of Darkness and below Menace. This change pushed Haunted Ship into Extended List and Oblivion into Advanced List.

Originally, we hesitated to place this level due to a lack of opinions. The only available estimate, from the level's verifier, who has beaten Slaughterhouse and is close to finishing Defeated Circles, put FOREST OF SPIKES above both. Recently, however, we received a new opinion from a player who has significant progress on Abyss of Darkness and Acheron, and believes that FOREST OF SPIKES is harder than both. Given the gimmicky nature of the gameplay and these two comparisons, we believe this is the most accurate placement possible for now.

Sacrifice has been placed at #35, above Based After Based and below Kyouki, with a list percent of 61%. This change pushes Sevvend Clubstep out of the Main List and Starlit Stroll out of the Extended List.

With two players who have beaten the level, following statements were determined:
— the first player, who beat Calibrate and Kyouki, found the level to be much closer to Kyouki in terms of difficulty;
— the second player with a lot of completed levels of Kyouki's difficulty range believes that Sacrifice belongs to it.

Based on these statements, we determined that placing Sacrifice right below Kyouki is currently the logical conclusion.

We barely use this channel for anything besides announcements, but this time entire Geometry Dash community might depend on us.

With events of this night taking place, people are seemingly losing hope in their long standing beliefs about the game and the top play. We always looked forward to changing it for the better.

Now, it is the right time to send people the message and let them know the safehouse and the future of the competitive scene is right here.

Defeated Circles and Acheron have been swapped, with Defeated Circles now sitting above at #31 and Acheron below at #32.

Based on the 11 opinions gathered, each of which had its own factors and biases, we decided to use a modified arithmetic mean to calculate the new placement and rely on that. The resulting outcome is also supported by the mutual victors comparisons given below:
— Defeated Circles won against Acheron with 71% winrate;
— Defeated Circles tied with Abyss of Darkness. It’s worth noting that we currently have only two mutual victors of Defeated Circles and Abyss of Darkness in 2.2 version and they both are considered somewhat biased due to their experience on these levels;
— Defeated Circles lost to Spectre with 33% winrate and Avernus with 44% winrate.

Considering all of the above, we have concluded that the best decision at this time would be to swap Defeated Circles and Acheron.

Ashley Wave Trials has been raised from #22 to #18, above Penumbral and below Every End.

This raise is based on the opinions of two victors, a verifier and a player who made significant progress:
— the verifier believes it to be harder than Penumbral, Subsuming Vortex and Ultra Paracosm, but easier than Every End;
— one victor who completed Penumbral claims Ashley Wave Trials to be harder than the latter;
— another victor who completed Silent clubstep claims Ashley Wave Trials to be harder than the latter;
— a player who has made a significant progress believes Ashley Wave Trials to be already significantly harder than andromeda and Ultra Paracosm.

From the opinions gathered, we have concluded that Ashley Wave Trials sitting right above Penumbral is the best decision for now.

Herr Machine has been placed at #16, above Every End and below The Bloop, with a list percent of 42%. This change pushes Kintetsu out of the Main List, and ATOMIC CANNON MKIII out of the Extended List.

This placement is based on the opinion of a Every End victor who's got 71% on Herr Machine and stated that Herr Machine is definitely harder. With no more players expected to attempt this level anytime soon, we have decided to place it.

Artemis 13 has been placed at #1, above Society, with a list percent of 52%, making it the new Hardest Demon in Geometry Dash and ending a 83 days reign of Society. This change pushes Tidal Wave out of the top-5, COMBUSTION into the Extended List and idontknowwhatthisis into the Advanced List.

Despite the level supposedly getting a nerfdate down to the top-10, as implied by the verifier, the frame counter suggests that the changes were not significant enough to affect the level's placement in that way, even suggesting the opposite.

This, paired with the fact that the level took the verifier approximately 1,5 months to complete, compared to approximately one month to beat Society, leaves us to conclude that Artemis 13 is the new Hardest Demon in the game.
