📌 Why I chose spot grid bots
Long story short: I’ve tried memecoins, venture crap, obvious scams, and “300% passive income” schemes. Lost time. Lost money. Now I have a system, not hope.
---
🧠 What is a spot grid bot?
A program that places limit orders above and below the current price. It buys low, sells high. 24/7. No leverage. No liquidation risk.
---
✅ Pros (why it actually works)
· Passive income 24/7.
The bot trades while you sleep.
· No emotions.
You don’t stare at charts. The bot just works.
· Makes money from volatility.
More swings = more trades. Sideways market? Perfect. Trend? Not a problem.
· No liquidation risk.
It’s spot. You hold real coins. Even if price drops 50%, you wait for recovery.
· Fully transparent.
You see every order, range, and profit. No black magic.
· Compound effect.
Profit is reinvested automatically. Each cycle works with a slightly larger capital.
---
❌ Cons (what the gurus don’t tell you)
· Low returns in quiet markets.
If price moves less than one grid step, the bot does nothing. You only earn from Auto-Earn (interest on idle USDT).
· Needs decent capital.
You need at least $50–100 per bot to make it efficient. With $10 it’s useless.
· Requires proper setup.
Range, grid count, reinvest — you must understand what you’re doing. “Click and forget” doesn’t work here.
· Slow growth.
This isn’t 1000% a month. It’s 10–30% a year in calm markets, maybe 50–100% in a good year.
---
🧨 Hidden traps and risks (learned the hard way)
· Breakout below the range
Price drops below your lower limit. The bot stops. Capital is frozen in the asset. You become a long-term holder.
Fix: use a wide range (e.g. BTC 60k–80k). Don’t panic. Don’t close at a loss.
· Breakout above the range
Price flies above your upper limit. The bot sells everything and stops. You’re in USDT but miss further upside.
Fix: manually expand the range (edit the bot) or use trailing.
· Fees eat your profit
With less than $2 per grid step, fees can take 30–50% of your trade profit.
*Fix: optimise grid count. Don’t use 50+ grids with $50 capital. Stick to 15–20 grids.*
· Unrealised PnL in red
The bot bought BTC, price dropped. You see red numbers and want to close everything.
Reality: the loss isn’t realised until you stop the bot. Wait for price to come back.
· Auto-reinvest fails
Bot says “not enough funds”. That’s normal. Profit hasn’t accumulated enough to place the next order.
Just wait. It will work when the amount is sufficient.

🎯 Why I chose grid bots (not trading, not memes, not staking)
· I’m tired of guessing.
With trading I always picked the wrong direction. Grid bots don’t care about direction — they earn from swings.
· I want to sleep well.
Spot, no leverage, wide ranges, stop-loss — this won’t blow my account.
· I believe in compounding.
I’d rather take 10–30% a year steadily than “1000% a month and then -90%”.
· I need a diary, not “success signals”.
I log real trades, drawdowns, mistakes. That keeps me sane during red days and humble during green ones.

📌 If you want to try yourself
1. Pick an exchange (OKX, Bybit, Binance).
2. Use money you can afford to lock for a while (start with $50–100).
3. Setup:
· Range: 10–20% wider than current price on both sides
· Grids: 20–30 for $50–100 capital, 30–50 for $200+
· Reinvest: ON
· Auto-Earn: ON
4. Launch and leave it alone for at least two weeks.
But remember — this isn’t “click and forget”. You still need to check it every 2–3 days.
