I can't put my finger on it yet, but there's something about this I'm very suspicious of. Something to do with macro economics and international relations, or general social reform. Seems like the kind of spin put onto this to convince you to get fucked over in some way you won't realise until years later. New gilding on the cage, or something like that.
On the surface it all sounds good, but my suspicion is like when we did all those free trade agreements. They looked good on the surface (cheaper stuff), but our manufacturing sector never recovered. This has the same feel.
They aren't going to do 4 day work weeks in China.
