4.3 to 5 million German civilians died during the war. At least 3 million died after the war, during the ethnic cleansing/genocide of Eastern European Germans.

"Israel is carrying out a major expansion of its Dimona nuclear facility in the Negev desert."

According to experts, Israel already has close to 400 nuclear weapons-- although they deny having any at all. But do they need more? Why?

There is a theory about Israel's nuclear strategy; the theory is that Israel adheres to something called the "Samson Option": referring to the biblical Samson who committed suicide to spite his enemies.

Samson, using his all his strength, brought down a great Temple on himself as well as the Phillistines occupying it, as a last resort.

But who will be the Phillistines in the Samson Option? Ostensibly, it would be their enemies in the middle east. But 400 nuclear warheads in the multiple-megaton range is enough to destroy the Middle East many times over. And now Israel wants even more...

ICE deports 95 year old man who served as a prison guard in WWII Germany.

Berger was conscripted into the German army during the war and was assigned as a guard to a sub-camp late in the war. He is not accused of any killing or mistreatment of prisoners. Nor is guilty of illegally residing in the USA.

His deportation for trial is due to new laws or legal procedures in Germany which greatly expand the definition of "accessory to murder," in relation to WWII-- making this a case of Ex post facto law.

Today marks the anniversary of the Channel Dash. A daring naval operation by Germany to return two battleships and one heavy cruiser to Germany, from the Atlantic coast of France.

It was a success the Germans pulled off by the skin of their teeth, and in spite of allied intelligence decrypting German communications.
