As promised, Donald Trump appointed Elon Musk as head of the Department of Government Efficiency, or #DOGE. Let’s break down what this means:

ℹ️ The department's goal is to cut unnecessary expenses, restructure federal agencies, reduce bureaucracy, and implement major reforms for more efficient management of the U.S. federal budget.

📌 Elon Musk has already announced a “Taxpayers’ Most Ridiculous Spending” list and called his appointment “a blow to the system.” According to Elon’s Twitter, the new department’s mascot is a dog that vaguely resembles the Dogecoin symbol. The coin, in turn, has risen by over 70% in a week, and Trump’s website now features branded T-shirts for D.O.G.E.

In the past 24 hours, liquidations totaling over $1.3 billion were recorded, which contributed to a nearly 4% drop in #BTC. Meanwhile, inflows into spot #Bitcoin #ETFs continue to grow — just yesterday, $817 million flowed into this instrument.

📌 While digital gold tries to recover from the drop and stabilize at the $90,000 level, Bitcoin’s dominance index over altcoins reached its highest level in three years — 61%, indicating greater market interest in #BTC.

🕯 Historically, a decrease in this indicator is seen as the start of alt season, but we’re likely still far from that, as alts have currently fallen by an average of 10%-20%. Analysts at #Copper believe Bitcoin’s peak may only come at the end of May next year.
