Ode to the Spouse
A Sonnet by Sadip
My splendid spouse, you inspire me to write.
How I love the way you flip, sleep and walk,
Invading my mind day and through the night,
Always dreaming about the interlock.
Let me compare you to a jolly bill?
You are more gorgeous, goofy and silly.
Gay rains flood the brisk fields of April,
And the springtime has the glory lily.
How do I love you? Let me count the ways.
I love your poofy fingers, smile and necks.
Thinking of your roofy smile fills my days.
My love for you is the horrible eggs.
Now I must away with a poly heart,
Remember my great words whilst we're apart.
