-The Magic Lake
Once upon a time there existed a castle in the distance
It belonged to a really beautiful princess
Her voice was like the touch of angels
And she was fond of dresses with colors
Far far away was a palace owned by a prince
He was born there and lived in it ever since
But one day sadly he lost his home
His entire people died not just some
It was burnt to ashes and he was left alone
He was left out in the streets with nothing to own
Years came years went
And all the kings rejected the letters he sent
He was left helpless in a land of burnt souls
But he didn't give up he kept his heart close
He kept trying to rebuild his life
But all those times he craved for a wife
So off he went to find his queen
To find the beauty he has never seen
He promised to keep his heart clean
And that he would never treat her mean
The princess in the mean time was keeping it together
Sunbathing outside in the really nice weather
Till she heard footsteps behind her
And turned around to see a tired traveler
She invited him into her home
They had lunch under the dome
He was enchanted by her exquisite beauty
She sounded more fairytale than reality
A few months later they were in love
Thanking the gift they were given from above
Eventually they got married
And were waiting for a child to be carried
One day the queen heard of a lake with magic
And the news made her cheerful not tragic
They said the lake was like a time machine
It takes back who ever jumps in it to the past
And people could change their fate make things last
But it was only accessible to royalty
People with a certain title or specialty
So next morning she blindfolded her husband
Took him to the magical place she had found
She smiled and told him he should go back
And get the lives his kingdoms lack
But he refused
Said he would choose her over his past
Said he was too in love with her to let her go
Told her everything he wanted her to know
But the queen knew the pain he was in
All the agony and the heartbreak that had been
So she whispered 'I'm sorry' and pushed him into the lake
Sacrificed her love for his sake
After that the king was able to save his clan
And he finally felt like he had won
But the effects of the magic wouldn't let him remember
How and why had he gotten there
The queen and the king were back to being themselves
He being the prince and she being the princess
Unfortuantely this is not a fairytale this is reality
They never saw each other again, it was never meant to be.
