⚡️🇸🇾🇺🇸 — Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa:
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Peace be upon you, and the mercy of God and His blessings. Here is Syria today, shaking off a black spot from its shoulders and tearing apart with its own hands a page from its painful past to launch into the space of development, reconstruction, and building. Great people of Syria, you have done it again. The sanctions have been lifted from you and the restrictions have been dissolved. I ask Almighty God to help us in serving you. I extend my deepest thanks to the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, and everyone who stood by our side from friendly and supportive countries, and peace be upon you, and the mercy of God and His blessings.

🇦🇪🇺🇸 — The image shows Al Dhafra Air Base in Abu Dhabi, with red arrows indicating sections of its main runway and taxiway. The base hosts roughly 2,000 U.S. troops and is supported by Patriot and THAAD systems against Houthi threats.

U.S. forces are reportedly increasing the presence of refueling aircraft in the UAE, with additional tankers being transported through the Omani side of the Strait of Hormuz to support regional air operations.

Defense analysts note there is no visible confirmation of increased tanker movement via the Omani route, and the "6+ refuelers" figure originates from informal online posts rather than official military statements—remaining unconfirmed speculation.

⚡️🇺🇸 — The Trump administration is preparing to revoke B1 business and B2 tourism visas for up to 200,000 foreigners who have applied for or are currently seeking asylum in the United States. State Department documents indicate the move targets visas issued between 2016 and 2026, representing the largest mass revocation in U.S. history. State Department spokesman Tommy Pigott confirmed coordination with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to identify individuals who entered as short-term visitors but filed for asylum to remain permanently, noting that revocations will occur on a rolling basis — AP.

➡️ U.S. officials stated the revocations will not necessarily trigger immediate deportation but will result in the loss of traveler status and the recategorization of those with pending asylum cases. The screening process initiated after the State Department received asylum request data from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Current visa protocols require applicants to affirm they will not seek asylum and demonstrate intent to return to their home countries, though the administration has already revoked approximately 175,000 visas over the past 18 months for criminal convictions or public opposition to U.S. Middle East policies.

➡️ While President Trump continues to challenge birthright citizenship, the Supreme Court and lower courts have consistently rejected these efforts. These visa actions reflect a broader enforcement shift intended to penalize visitors who utilize non-immigrant pathways for permanent residency.

⚡️🇮🇱🇮🇷 — Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu revealed an Iranian attempt to assassinate one of his sons, a disclosure that circumvented standing military censorship restrictions. Following the revelation, the Ministerial Committee for Shin Bet Affairs approved lifelong security for Netanyahu and his wife, Sara, including a permanent extension option. This action follows reports of pressure from Sara Netanyahu on the National Security Headquarters and Shin Bet to secure five-year protection for herself and her children independent of future election results — N12.

➡️ Ministerial committee members finalized five-year security terms for Yair and Avner Netanyahu based on a recommendation from Shin Bet chief David Zini. The decision faced internal opposition from professional figures at the National Security Headquarters and within the Shin Bet, who characterized the fixed multi-year mandate as disproportionate. Dissenting officials argued that security protocols should be governed by periodic threat assessments rather than pre-determined blocks, notwithstanding the heightened threat profile associated with the ongoing conflict with Iran.

⚡️🇨🇳🇮🇳 — Chinese President Xi Jinping is anticipated to attend the BRICS summit in New Delhi on September 12-13, leading a delegation of approximately 400 officials in his first visit to India in seven years. The presence of the expanded diplomatic team signals a significant effort to stabilize relations following the 2020 border clashes and the subsequent four-year military standoff resolved by an October 2024 disengagement pact. Despite the agreement, New Delhi recently warned that peace along the frontier remains "critical to ties" following reports of face-to-face patrol encounters in late July — Reuters.

➡️ Indian National Security Advisor Ajit Doval met with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Beijing on Monday to discuss boundary issues and summit coordination. While bilateral travel plans are not yet finalized, officials intend to use the summit to manage long-standing regional security differences and address economic convergences arising from U.S. trade policies. The Chinese Foreign Ministry stated Beijing "attaches great importance" to BRICS cooperation and supports India's role as the current chair, though Xi’s specific bilateral agenda remains under review.

⚡️🇬🇧🇺🇦 — United Kingdom Prime Minister Andy Burnham and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed an "AI Partnership" agreement in Kyiv on Monday, granting Britain access to the "Avengers AI Labs" battlefield database. As the first foreign nation to utilize this resource, the UK will provide technology and researchers to analyze data for mutual military advancement, training artificial intelligence models on real-world combat telemetry — Bloomberg.
"The partnership will bring together Ukraine’s unrivaled operational experience with Britain’s world-class AI ecosystem.

By combining Ukrainian battlefield data with British expertise, we will accelerate the development of capabilities that not only strengthen our national security but better protect our critical infrastructure and growth in every postcode here at home” — UK PM Burnham in a statement.

➡️ The "Avengers AI Labs" platform integrates millions of objects captured by thousands of cameras and infrared sensors, including tanks, artillery, air defense systems, and aerial targets such as Shahed drones. The UK government and Ukrainian Ministry of Defense confirmed the dataset contains 5 million frames primarily sourced from the "DELTA combat system," an infrastructure used for frontline intelligence and fire guidance. This agreement follows the August opening of the lab to domestic defense firms, marking the first international exploitation of these combat-derived AI training sets.

⚡️🇺🇸🇸🇾 — Highlighting the diplomatic pivot away from the former regime's legacy and outlining a new era of direct cooperation with Washington, Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Shaibani stated:
«We congratulate the Syrian people on this historic milestone: the removal of Syria from the list of State Sponsors of Terrorism after 47 years under a designation associated with the policies and practices of the former regime. This designation was never the choice of the Syrian people, nor was it befitting of Syria and its history.

This step is the result of the transformation brought about by the Syrian people and reflects the new Syrian state’s commitment to international peace and security, as well as to cooperation and partnership with the United States and countries around the world.

Under the guidance of President Ahmed Al-Sharaa, we will continue our efforts to overcome the legacy of isolation and foster an environment based on transparency, mutual interests and respect.

We extend our sincere appreciation to President Donald Trump, Secretary of State and friend Marco Rubio, Ambassador and friend Thomas Barrack, the U.S. administration, members of Congress, and all those who contributed to making this historic step possible.»

⚡️🇸🇾🇺🇸 — The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed the formal rescinding of the U.S. State Sponsor of Terrorism designation, characterizing the shift as a foundational pillar for economic recovery and regional stabilization under the new state leadership:
«Syria expresses its appreciation for this important step, which opens a new chapter in Syria’s international relations.

The Ministry affirms that this decision, which comes after decades of Syria’s inclusion on the list, will support economic recovery, help create the conditions for reconstruction, and strengthen stability and security in Syria and the region, with a positive impact on the Syrian people and neighbouring countries.

The Syrian Arab Republic expresses its appreciation to the United States and to the administration of President Donald J. Trump for this important step and for the political will that helped make this decision possible. Syria hopes that further steps will follow to lift the remaining constraints that hinder its recovery.»

⚡️🇮🇷🇺🇸 — The Iranian Minister of Economy issued a formal response to the economic tightening proposed by U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, detailing Tehran's strategic readiness to navigate intensified energy sanctions and inflationary volatility:
«We have been waiting for these days for a long time and we knew that they had such plans. The government is fully prepared for this economic war.»

➡️ Addressing domestic price instability and the disruption of essential imports:
«The current inflation is temporary. The inflation rate has been between 25 and 40 percent, not 80 percent.

The enemy's pressure to damage gas and oil and create a siege has had short-term inflationary effects, but it is gradually being controlled through monetary and fiscal policies.

A significant part of the current shock is due to post-war conditions. The enemy even tried to prevent the entry of medicine, which increased prices, but alternative ways were found.

They have completed military terrorist operations with economic terrorist operations, but we will pass through with proper management.»

⚡️🇫🇷🇸🇦 — France and Saudi Arabia signed a memorandum of understanding for a €6 billion investment to develop three theme parks near Cergy-Pontoise, 30 kilometers northwest of Paris. The project, led by Saudi sovereign wealth fund subsidiary Qiddiya, is projected to generate 22,000 direct jobs, surpassing the 20,000 positions currently provided by Disneyland Paris. French President Emmanuel Macron described the initiative as an "unprecedented announcement" and a "new global destination" during the two-day visit of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman — France 24 / AFP.

➡️ Qiddiya investment firm will execute the colossal project in stages over several years, with one facility expected to feature a manga theme inspired by "Dragon Ball Z." The proposal originated during a December 2024 meeting in Riyadh where Macron and the Crown Prince discussed shared cultural interests. While specific opening dates remain unconfirmed, the phased construction will focus on establishing the site as a major international attraction within the Île-de-France region.

➡️ Three French journalists' unions—SNJ-CGT, CFDT-Journalistes, and SGJ-FO—protested the visit, citing a 2021 investigation into the 2018 killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi. The unions characterized the hosting of the Crown Prince as a "provocation for defenders of media freedom," referencing US intelligence and United Nations findings that attributed responsibility for the "extrajudicial killing" to Saudi leadership. French officials defended the diplomatic engagement as a significant signal of the "depth and dynamism" of the bilateral relationship, noting it marked the Crown Prince's first non-summit international visit in nearly a year.

➡️ Both nations reaffirmed support for Yemen’s Presidential Leadership Council and UN-led political settlements while condemning Houthi attacks on Saudi infrastructure and commercial vessels. The leaders further addressed Sudan’s territorial integrity and Syria’s stability, welcoming the establishment of a Saudi-Syrian-French business council to support economic recovery.
