Lewis achieved his 54th fastest lap in a Mercedes, a new F1 record. Previously, the record was held by Michael Schumacher driving a Ferrari with 53 fastest laps

Also in the near future, Lewis Hamilton may break another record of Michael Schumacher. Schumacher holds the record for the most fastest laps in Formula 1 history with 77 laps in his career, but Hamilton isn't too far behind his 66 fastest laps
