National Student Cricket League invites everybody to the first tournament «Opening Cup» 🏏

An exciting event will took the place from May 23 to 26 – the first tournament of National Student Cricket League!

▪️ Ceremony of opening will be held on May 23 in 18:00
▪️ The games will be held from 24 to May 26, from 09:00 to 19:00
▪️ Closing of the first cricket «Opening Cup» will take a place on 26 may в 20:00

Tomorrow, May 13, 2024 year, an important event for Russian student cricket will took a place 🏏

At 14:00 National Student Cricket League will hold the first extended meeting of presidium in the walls of MRSU named after N. P. Ogarev.

The meeting will bring together representatives from the leading universities of Russia, and also management of NSCL led by president of the league– Dmitrii Evgenevich Glushko.

The expanded meeting of presidium will be considered strategy of league development, declared calendar of competition and so on.

Working trip of the management of the National Student Cricket League to the Crimea!

A sporting delegation consisting of Marat Mansurovich Bariev, rector's adviser, and Ramil Eduardovich Baichurin, director of the Sports club of the Mordovia State University named after N.P. Ogarev, paid a working visit to the Crimean Federal University named after V.I.Vernadsky.

The discussion of the development of cricket in the Republic of Crimea and at the Crimean University in particular was on the agenda 🏏

During a meeting with the rector of the Crimean University, Vladimir Olegovich Kuryanov, it was agreed to join the National Student Cricket League and participate in the First League Opening Cup, which will be held in Saransk from 22 to 27 of May.

It was noted the huge work done by colleagues from the Crimean University in the development of this sport. The management of the NSCL expressed its readiness to learn from the extensive experience of colleagues from the sports club of the university.

The meeting with the Minister of Sports of the Republic of Crimea Olga Alexandrovna Torubarova also took a place on a positive note. It was noted that the Ministry makes a significant part to the development of student sports and cricket in particular.

В апреле состоялась рабочая поездка руководящего состава Национальной Студенческой Лиги Крикета в Крым!

Спортивная делегация в составе Марата Мансуровича Бариева, советника ректора, и Рамиля Эдуардовича Байчурина, директора спортивного клуба МГУ им. Н.П. Огарёва, с рабочим визитом посетила Крымский федеральный университет им. В. И. Вернадского.

На повестке дня стояло обсуждение развития крикета в Республике Крым и в Крымском университете в частности 🏏

На встрече с ректором Крымского университета Владимиром Олеговичем Курьяновым была достигнута договоренность о вступлении университета в Национальную Студенческую Лигу Крикета и участии в Первом Кубке Открытия лиги, который состоится в городе Саранск с 22 по 27 мая.

Была отмечена огромная работа, проделанная коллегами из Крымского университета в развитии данного вида спорта. Руководство НСЛК выразило готовность перенять большой опыт коллег из спортивного клуба университета.

Встреча с министром спорта Республики Крым Ольгой Александровной Торубаровой также прошла на позитивной ноте. Было отмечено, что министерство вносит значительный вклад в развитие студенческого спорта и крикета в частности.

Welcome to the official channel of National Student Cricket League 🏏

Student's Sport Festival was successfully held in Saransk last year, which became the starting point for establishment of National Student Cricket League. This meaningful event united many universities, which confirmed their participation at the tournaments under NSCL auspices and took an active part in popularizing cricket in the territory of Russian Federation

🗓️ Very soon, or rather at May of 13th, the first extended meeting of NSCL presidium will be held on the base of MRSU named after N. P. Ogarev

National Student Cricket League is preparing for its debut season!

May will be a month of exciting games as the «Opening» Cup is planned. In the future it is planned to hold a regular NSCL championship.
