Freedom of speech is good. Freedom to abuse and insult is bad. People are asking (due to the Batley Grammar School incident) me how we should react to people who are insulting the Prophet ﷺ, especially when there is bigotry against Muslims from France, 'Israel', Burma, China to many other places?

I would suggest the following two ways: explain that the Prophet ﷺ is more beloved to us than anything, including our parents and children, so when people abuse, swear and attempt to denigrate him ﷺ it is worse for us than racism, insults to our own person, children and family, and everything else which is dear to us. It is worse for us than making a mockery of the Holocaust is for the Jew, or making a mockery of the army or the Royals or Meghan is for many. If this method of explaining doesn't work then utilise your freedom of speech to the maximum, see how much tolerance is displayed when you are insulting what is dear to others and this can be done in many ways.
