Hey Everyone (Poll Enclosed)
Hey everyone. Long time no chat. I was told to bring back the subreddit or they were going to remove me from moderating and then add someone else; most likely a scab (my term, not theirs).
It seems that the problem is that my post did not garner enough of a percentage of the user base on closing or opening. To quote the admins. .
\> A community with 452k members who enjoy the community has been indefinitely closed and camped on which has violated Rule 4 of our Code of Conduct. This community remaining closed to its 452k members is a problem regardless of the 54 users who may have upvoted the closure post. If you do not plan to reopen please let us know so we can move forward with looking for new moderators.
Maybe they're right. Maybe it wasn't fair to the rest of the community / spam bots that I close the subreddit. So I've added a poll with several options. Please feel free to vote to determine the future of the subreddit.
If you don't vote; I'll assume you are fine with whatever percentage of the people that do vote care about.
Three options:
1) Keep Open - Just open it up like it was before, who cares about third party apps and the blind!?
2) Go back to a locked state, Protest the Man. Man.
3) Go down the chaos rabbit hole - Stay open but don't moderate as usual
/r/animegifs will stay in restricted mode until the results of the poll are complete in two days.
