Should I get a restraining order against my ferret, Marshal, after he keeps attempting to crawl UP my pant leg?

I am SHAKING as I type this. So, my ferret boy, Marshal, on several times, tried to crawl up my pant leg of my shorts. Whilst I was standing, playing with them, Princess Chaos and Marshal, Marshal, tried several times to jump up and crawl into my pant leg. I am absolutely traumatized by this and will need EXTENSIVE therapy. I'm thinking about suing to cover the costs of therapy that I will be needing. I think several snoot boops will be enough? I already issued a ferret safe chew treat to warn them against any further contact.

I am so scared y'all, this has NEVER happened to me, even though it has happened several times with my cats and dog. Please, what actions can I take against my ferrets? I've already called them "Goofy Goobers" and "Stink Stink Stinky boy" but, I think I might have gone too far.

Haha, Merry Christmas early, y'all. Hopefully, this is a goofy post but, please, I am 100% serious, I am afraid in my own home. lol

PSA; don't forget to ferret-proof your cables

I have a ferret that chews on stuff while she eats, not sure if this is normal or she's special, or a little of both, but I have a tunnel on the side of the couch that she tends to pack food over and eat in. I saw her doing this yesterday, but then noticed her gnawing on a lamp cord that happened to be right at the end of the tunnel. Here's what I found.

I'm going to get hate comments for this, and I'm going to agree to all of it. Luckily nobody was hurt, but from the looks of things it doesn't look like there was much time before disaster struck. In this case, the neutral was what was exposed so as-is, it was not immediately dangerous. However had the cable been broken and then re-connected via ferret that would have been disaster.

Check all of your cords periodically and protect the ones that they can reach. I wonder how effective the plastic coil is for AC cords; it'd at least be one more barrier between mains voltage and your pets.
