According to a release put out by the Russian Defense Ministry, an American “Global Hawk” UAV took off from a US military base in Sigonella yesterday, and flew a flight path across SE Europe going from Sicily to Greece, along the E. NATO borders with Russia, and ending over Poland and Lithuania.

The Russians reported that at the time the platform was airborne, it was transmitting geospatial-adjustment data to US ATACMS missiles being fired into Russia from Ukraine during the same time window.
