Miyahara Eye Clinic was originally the largest eye clinic during the Japanese colonial period. However, it suffered damage and abandonment due to the September 21 earthquake and numerous typhoons.
In 2010, the structure underwent a transformation by Dawn Cheesecake Company, emerging as a unique modern-style souvenir and ice cream shop.
Taiwan remains dedicated to the preservation of historically significant buildings that are well worth a visit.
