“Empty Shelves Joe”: More than HALF of Americans have experienced supply-chain issues (Poll)

53.7% of Americans say they are personally feeling the negative effects of supply chain delays when attempting to purchase common consumer products, according to a poll released Wednesday.

The poll by the Convention of States Action in conjunction with the Trafalgar Group was conducted in mid-October – with many analysts fearing supply chain woes will become even more apparent as the holiday season approaches.

"These numbers reveal that, yes, Americans are already experiencing shortages and delays. When you add inflation into the mix, consumers are also paying more for products and have less money to spend," said Mark Meckler president of the Convention of States Action.

Meckler added that "unfortunately, Washington DC now represents the single greatest threat to the well-being of American families."

US military 'successfully' tests three hypersonic weapon prototypes - Pentagon

The US Army and Navy have conducted three hypersonic tests at NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia, aimed at developing the military’s “offensive hypersonic strike” capabilities.

A flight test of the completed weapon could happen within the next 12 months, with the missile systems expected to go live in 2022.

It comes after Washington criticized China for two hypersonic tests in July and August - which Beijing has denied were even weapons.

COFFEE CRISIS - Caribou Coffee admits to HOARDING stock

With a global shortage of between 4-7mn bags of Arabica coffee beans, Caribou Coffee CEO John Butcher has confessed his company is storing as much as they can for their 450 stores.

"My gut tells me to hope for the best and to prepare for the worst. I personally don't see any reason to believe that supply-chain disruptions are going to go away anytime soon. Everybody is in the same boat,” he said.

As Arabica beans hit decade-high prices this week, just imagine how many beans Starbucks and other mass chains are keeping for themselves?

Biden PRAISED… for flip-flopping on Trump-approved Alaska oil project worth 1000s of jobs

The Biden administration has DITCHED a 100k barrels-a-day oil project in Alaska that would have created thousands of jobs and $10bn in govt revenue, having previously BACKED it in May.

The deadline to appeal a federal judge’s decision to block the Willow project passed, leaving lawyers for green groups to laud Biden’s “positive steps” towards cleaner energy - despite the DoJ accusing activists of “cherry-picking” govt records.

Alaska Sen Dan Sullivan claimed the move won’t help the environment, as it will benefit our adversaries that produce oil, like Russia, Venezuela and Iran, whose environmental standards are some of the worst in the world.”

“WILFUL NEGLIGENCE”: Health Boss BLASTS UK Govt for Ignoring Masks and WFH Orders

British Medical Association Chief Dr Chand Nagpaul has blamed ministers of recklessly refusing to reinstate mask mandates and work from home advice, despite Health Sec Sajid Javid admitting daily infection cases could surge over 100k.

Javid resisted calls to impose the govt’s Plan B, which includes Covid passports, claiming the NHS is not under “unsustainable” pressure - but Dr Nagpaul insists “categorically” it is, highlighting that weekly Covid deaths are now equal to March’s lockdown.

“It is therefore incredibly concerning that he is not willing to take immediate action to save lives and to protect the NHS,” he said.

TRUTH SOCIAL: First glimpses of Trump’s new platform

The first promo clips of Donald Trump’s new TRUTH Social network - set for a soft launch next month - have appeared online, with a suspiciously familiar lilt to the branding.

The former President announced the launch of Trump Media and Technology Group (TMTG) on Wednesday to “stand up to the tyranny of Big Tech” in clear reference to his censorship on Facebook and Twitter.

TMTG has already been listed at a whopping $1.7bn potential value just months after its founder was banned from the major platforms – is the new logo a dig at FB?

Facebook "Whistleblower" Haugen Has Tech Billionaire BACKER (Politico report)

eBay’s billionaire founder Pierre Omidyar has thrown his weight behind "whistleblower" Frances Haugen in her dispute with Facebook by reportedly offering advice - and possibly funding.

While it is Omidyar’s organization Luminate last year ploughed $150k sum into Whistleblower Aid, which is funding Haugen’s legal fees, an unnamed source suggested to Politico that “there will be financial investments."

Haugen has other big hitters in her corner - her top PR representative is former Obama spox Bill Burton, whose Center Humane technology receives funding from Omidyar, and former Dem presidential candidate Larry Lessig has offered legal aid.
