GIANTS OF THE NAHANNI VALLEY

The Nahanni Valley of Northern Canada has long been the source of mysterious legends and even disappearances.

Aside from headless corpses of missing explorers appearing in the land, native legends are rife with tales of the Naha tribe, a group of hairy, White giants who were also cannibals. These Naha would come down from the mountains to raid the natives, until one day they disappeared without any explanation.

The land is a state park today but is still avoided by the natives, whose oral tradition keeps the memory of their giant enemies alive and well.
