Special conditions of detention: SCP-3456 is currently impossible to contain. All attempts to capture or eliminate SCP-3456 have failed. The search for a method of object maintenance continues. Personnel who have had direct eye contact with entities should be treated with type G amnesiacs and transported to a water mine, river or lake a kilometer from the nearest sewage treatment plant. All evidence of SCP-3456's existence has been removed by the foundation and/or rewritten as myths, the result of concussion, PTSD and hysteria. All documentary evidence of deaths and damage related to SCP-3456 should be cleared of any mention of its abnormal properties and described as a result of wars, natural or man-made disasters.
The places where SCP-3456 most often appears are under constant surveillance. In case of an anomaly, the staff should immediately evacuate the population. Direct eye contact with SCP-3456 entities should be avoided.
Description: SCP-3456 are several four-legged creatures similar to members of the equine family. Unlike ordinary horses, these creatures are devoid of hair and mane, have three-toed hooves, thick, translucent skin and one or more humanoid torsos growing from the creature's back.
The torso has human-like arms and a head. The hands are about twice the size of the creature itself and end in 5 sharpened bone appendages in place of human fingers. In place of the nose, the creatures have a large hole that is capable of making a sound with a volume of up to 110 decibels. The size varies from entity to entity, the maximum registered value is 30 meters high and 15 meters wide. It has been proven that SCP-3456 instances are immune to standard weapons.
Instances appear in places of wars, terrorist attacks and natural disasters. The intensity of their manifestation depends on the level of threat, there is evidence of their manifestation during various historical events of the XIX, XX and XXI centuries. Entities show high adaptability and intelligence, they often construct traps and torment their victims.2 This suggests that SCP-3456 entities may be intelligent.
If someone has had direct eye contact with SCP-3456, the entity will immediately know about it. It will actively monitor this subject. As you know, entities will be near this person, roughly masking themselves using the environment. Survivors report constant harassment by SCP-3456, even outside the site of initial contact (see Incident I-3456-032)3. The entity will continue to behave this way, intentionally revealing itself to as many people as possible, until it captures most of them and disappears.4 What happens to those who are captured by SCP-3456 is unknown. If SCP-3456 has not been able to gather enough subjects to observe it, it will manifest next to them until it can capture them.
SCP-3456 are unable or unwilling to cross clean water sources. This was clarified by the Foundation's establishment in Wasra, Iraq, during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Foundation agents tried to escape from SCP-3456 via the Tigris River Bridge, and found that the entities could not enter the bridge. The reason for such limitations in SCP-3456 is unknown.

As a rule, such anomalies are considered the most dangerous of all those in maintenance, and scientific activity on such objects is aimed solely at developing more reliable means of containment, or, as a last resort, at timely neutralization or destruction of their abnormal effect.
