⚡️ China has launched the world's largest offshore solar power station!
Located 8 km off the coast of Dongying city, covering an area of more than 1,223 hectares and is made up of 2,934 solar panels. This offshore solar farm is expected to generate 1.78 billion kWh annually – enough to power around 2.67 million urban homes in China.
👉 What’s even better? It could also help save about 503,800 tons of standard coal and cut down carbon dioxide emissions by roughly 1.34 million tons annually.
