Google has unveiled the second generation of Veo, a video-making AI to compete with Sora.
The final version of this model can create videos up to 2 minutes long in 4K quality and creates more realistic videos than the previous version and even Sora, with physics, movement of objects and fluids, and light reflections that are closer to reality.
The model is currently available on Google's VideoFX platform at labs.google/videofx, but requires a request and a queue, and the videos it produces there are limited to 8 seconds and 720p. The final version of the model will be available to Google's enterprise customers in the coming months.
