🇺🇾 JUST IN: A dormant Bitcoin wallet from 2013 holding 16.5 BTC (approx. $1.07M) has reportedly been compromised.

The wallet owner had allegedly reached out for assistance, but before the funds could be secured, an unknown party appears to have accessed the wallet and transferred the BTC elsewhere.

🇺🇾 JUST IN: A inactive 2013 BTC wallet holding 16.5 BTC ($1.07M) was just accessed.

The wallet’s owner had asked for help, but before they could secure the funds, another party appears to have gained access and withdrew the BTC to their own wallet.

🚫 India’s IT ministry banned Telegram for one week because some users shared leaked exam questions.

This punishes 150 million ordinary Telegram users in India — not the insiders who leaked the exam materials.

And the ban hasn't stopped anything. The leaks just moved to other apps.

🛡 We’ve done a lot to help fix the problem — even though its source is not Telegram.

Over the past few weeks, we removed hundreds of channels sharing leaked exam materials and related scams in India.

We’ve also been making the “edited” label more visible to prevent backdating scams.

🏳️ Telegram is a force for good. Banning it — even temporarily — is a mistake.

🇺🇾 JUST IN: A user lost over $1.65M after connecting their wallet to a fake crypto exchange.

The phishing platform appeared legitimate and convinced the victim to link their wallet. Moments later, more than $1.6M in crypto assets was drained.

Stay cautious and always verify exchange URLs before connecting your wallet.

The UK says Apple, Google and other device/platform providers should implement protections that stop children from taking, sharing, receiving, or viewing nude images on phones and tablets.
