Weekend Chaos & Big Updates 🚀This weekend was absolute madness. Instead of lying down and staring at the ceiling as I had planned, I ended up completely rewriting the block difficulty algorithm. If you were mining at night over the weekend, you probably noticed it! 😏
Oh, and for a while, there was a huge number showing the difficulty. No, that wasn’t a bug—many of you wrote to support about it. Previously, difficulty was exponential, and we displayed the exponent. Now, it’s linear, and we show the actual number. Not sure who finds this interesting, but hey, there you go.
We revamped the main screen and added a neat feature that will be used more and more in the future. Now, depending on the number of mined blocks, planets will appear on the main screen!
Right now, there are five planets, each evolving one by one as you mine more blocks. For now, it’s just decoration, but it definitely makes mining a bit more fun when you have something cool to look at.
By popular demand, we’ve also created a chat group. We’re looking for a couple of volunteer moderators—if you’re interested, just drop a comment.
This week, we plan to launch the first DAO mechanics. Our goal? To make them as evil as possible. Lord help us.
