⚔️On the Situation in the Kursk Region on 22 November, the 109th Day of the Invasion⚡️
🔴 In the Invasion Zone, after the successful elimination of the AFU group in the Olgovsky Forest, there was some calm. Our soldiers continue to attack and repel AFU counterattacks, but the autumn thaw is not conducive to offensive operations. Until the roads freeze, advancement is very difficult.
🔴 In the areas of #Daryino and #NikolayevoDaryino, our war correspondents report two foot attacks by our fighters. So far, we have not been able to push the enemy out of his positions.
🔴 Southeast of #Kremyanoye, heavy fighting is underway in the landing area. If it is successful, our forces will be able to straighten the frontline and approach the settlement of #Kruglenkoye.
🔴 In the area of #Pogrebki, there is also some progress. We managed to take another street, and also took two positions to the right of #Pogrebki along the railway.
🔴 Near #Sudzha, our troops made another attempt to storm #Martynovka using equipment. Also, our troops are trying to advance in the Nizhniye Sudzha area, so far without serious changes.
🔴 Most likely, both sides are preparing for a new stage of active fighting and are accumulating forces. And here the support of our artillery and aviation is important, preventing the AFU from pulling reserves. Su-34 crews carried out a series of successful strikes on the AFU training ground in #Sumy. This facility was located on the site of the former Higher Artillery Command School. And our air defence shot down 3 Ukrainian missiles in the skies of the #Kursk region today. There were no casualties.
🔴 Tragedy in Rylsky district: A civilian passenger car in which a married couple was traveling was blown up by an explosive device. The woman died, her husband was wounded.
🔴 The military is still evacuating residents of frontline areas, mostly elderly people, to the rear. Today, 11 people were evacuated from the Glushkovsky district. They are now safe.
🔴 Today at a government meeting, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced the decision to allocate more than 900 million rubles to the #Kursk region for the purchase of 37 block-modular boiler houses to get through the autumn-winter period in border areas.
🔴 Good news: Today 46 residents of the #Kursk region returned to #Russia from #Ukraine. They were taken away by the AFU militants in August after the invasion of the region. Their return was made possible thanks to the interaction of the human rights apparatus and our other departments with the International Red Cross, special services and government agencies of #Belarus. Among those returned to Russia are 12 children (one newborn (!!!), one under 3 years old, and also a wheelchair user). Poor people. It is hard to imagine what they had to endure during these hundred days of such civil captivity.
