Someone edited an old message in a public chat and swapped it out for 🔞 illegal content — so in the feed it just looked like a regular old message, and nobody in the chat noticed the swap or got a chance to report it. That’s exactly why Telegram’s moderation didn’t catch it in time: reports and AI filters are built to catch new content, not a quietly edited old message.
