TON is a blockchain. Short for
The Open Network. This is the foundation: the chain, validators, architecture. It doesn't change. It used to be a TON, and it will always be a TON.

Toncoin is the old name of this blockchain's own token. What you bought, exchanged, and steamed. However, at its core it is still the same asset.

GRAM is a new name for the same token. No replacement, hard fork, or migration is taking place. This is a purely cosmetic, but important procedure.
