Saved Messages 2.0, One-Time Voice Messages and More

Saved Messages 2.0
• Saved Messages has a new View as Chats mode.
• View as Chats shows a list of the chats, groups and channels from which you've forwarded messages.

One-Time Voice and Video Messages
• View-Once is now available for voice and video messages.
• These messages can only be played one time before they are automatically deleted.

Read Time in Private Chats
• In 1-on-1 chats, you can now see the exact time when your message was opened.
• Read Times have their own granular privacy settings, based on your Last Seen status.

⭐ Tags for Saved Messages
• Premium users can add multiple tags to messages with reactions.
• While searching, you can use tags to filter the results.

⭐ One-Way Last Seen and Read Times
• With Premium, you can hide your last seen or read time and still see those of others who share theirs with you.
• If you hide your last seen or read time, it is always hidden from all users – including Premium users.

⭐ Private Message Permissions
• Premium users can select who is able to send them messages – Everyone, or My Contacts and Premium Users.
• Users excluded by this setting can't start chats with you, but can reply if you message them first.

We're a bit late, but Unigram 10.6 is now available in the Microsoft Store, bringing all the features introduced by Telegram in the last two months. Tags in Saved Messages are in the works and will also become available very soon.

Similar Channels, Automatic Code Highlighting and More

Similar Channels
• Joining a channel will also show a list of similar public channels to check out.

Automatic Code Highlighting
• Messages sent with ```code formatting``` automatically detect the coding language and highlight its syntax.

Voice-to-Text for Everyone
• All users can convert up to 2 voice or video messages per week to text to quickly see what was said or even translate audio.

⭐️ Profile Colors
• In addition to their name and messages, Premium users can customize their profile with a unique color combination and logos.

⭐️ Wallpapers for Both Sides
• Anyone can set a unique wallpaper for any 1-on-1 chat – while Premium users can now set the same appearance for them and their chat partner.

Custom Reactions for Channels
• Channel admins have a new, intuitive interface for managing reactions and can now add custom emoji – 1 for each level they have.

Quote Replies
• Quote and reply to specific parts of any message.
• Tapping a quote scrolls to the orignal mesage and highlights the quoted text.
• Add quote formatting to any text for multiple replies in one message.

Reply in Other Chats
• Click the reply bar to reply privately or in a different group or channel.
• Tapping the reply from another chat opens the message in the original chat if allowed.

Adjustable Link Previews
• Choose whether the preview appears above or below your message.
• Change the size of preview media.
• Select which link to preview if there are multiple.

⭐️ Account Colors
• Select a color or color combination for your account.
• This color will be used for your name, any links you send, and replies to your messages.

STORIES FOR CHANNELS, YOUR MUSIC IN STORIES AND MORE

Stories for Channels
• Telegram users can boost their favorite channels, allowing the channel to post stories.
• Channels can ask subscribers for boosts using a special link.
• More boosts make the channel level up – able to post more stories per day.

Reaction Stickers in Stories
• Users can add reaction stickers to their story, letting viewers share emotions in one tap.

Music in Stories
• Anyone can use audio files on their device in their story – adding music, narration and effects.

View-Once Media
• Self-destructing media now has a view-once setting.
• View-Once media is permanently deleted from the chat when the recipient opens it.

New Login Alerts
• When a new device logs in to your account, a login alert appears at the top of your chat list.
• If you don't recognize the new device, tap 'No, it's not me!' to instantly secure your account.

What's new in 9.6.3:
IMPROVED DOWNLOADS, CHAT PREVIEWS, AND MORE

Improved Downloads
• Documents, music and videos are now downloaded to your Downloads folder.
• You can change the default Download Folder from Settings > 🔵 Data and Storage.

Chat Previews
• Hover your cursor on a chat to preview the latest message.
• You can disable this any time from Settings > 🔔 Notifications and Sounds.

And More
• Over a hundred optimizations have been done to improve the app speed and stability.

What's new in 9.5:
POWER SAVING AND MORE

Power Saving Mode
• One switch to disable all resource-intensive animations and autoplay for media, stickers and emoji.
• Power saving mode turns on automatically based on battery charge.

Granular Playback Speed
• Fully flexible playback speed settings for videos, voice and video messages.
• Tap the “2X” button to quickly switch between 1-1.5-2x speed – or hold it to set any speed between 0.2-2.5x.

Read Time in Small Groups
• Read receipts in groups under 100 members now show the time when your messages were read.

Improved Group Invites
• When inviting people to groups, you can quickly send invite links to anyone who doesn't allow adding them directly.
• Invite links now show previews in chats.

And More
• Toggle dynamic pack order. Choose if you want recently used sticker packs to be displayed above the older ones in the panel.
• Fully translatable bots. Bot descriptions and “What can this bot do?” sections can now be translated.
• Improved folder support. Mark all messages in a folder as read and use folders when forwarding.

What's new in 9.2:
GLOBAL AUTO-DELETE, TOPICS 2.0 AND MUCH MORE

Global Auto-Delete
• You can set a Global Auto-Delete Timer for all new chats and groups you create.
• New messages will be deleted after 1 day, week, month – or a custom duration you choose.
• The new menu in Settings > Privacy & Security > Auto-Delete Messages also lets you set up Auto-Delete for any of your existing chats faster.

Aggressive Anti-Spam for Groups
• Large groups can enable 'Aggressive Filtering' in Group Info > Administrators to remove more spam with automated algorithms.
• Admins help improve filtering by reporting any false positives in 'Recent Actions'.

Temporary QR Codes
• The QR Code page in Settings can now generate a temporary code for users who don’t have a username and hide their phone number from everyone.
• Show this code to others if you want them to add you as a contact without sharing any details.

Improved Emoji and Sticker Search
• You can search for basic and custom emoji in the Emoji tab of the Sticker Panel using hundreds of keywords like ‘smile’, ‘heart’ or 'hypnotoad'.
• More keywords can be suggested via translations.telegram.org/en/emoji
• Sticker search will also show stickers that match these keywords.
• Tapping on custom emoji in any message now shows you which emoji pack they came from.
