Third of July, absolutely summer, the class of 2010 makes their first reunion party after years passed by. Reksi, who sits rows away from the others, seems busy struggling with his tangled wired-earphone, exiles himself off the crowds.

“You haven’t changed at all, Reksa.”

“Reksi,” correct him. The guy who crosses his arms in front of Reksi nods, wittily, causes a tilt of Reksi’s head—a sign of confusion and displeasure. Crackling laughter comes out of Jenar, the only one person in that room who wants to talk to him. “You should’ve remembered how pity you were back then, oh look! Here is even the same expression, poor you,” he emphasizes the last word, harmlessly, with his fingers ruffle the hair of person in front of him.

“Shut up!” Reksi remembering that day by stealth, where he sat under a large mango tree behind the school in the Summer of 2010, the first time he met Jenar—who was also the first time he felt his heart broken by the girl who at that time was also her first day as his first ex. Jenar still thinks that Reksi’s a little bit unique for was quietly bawling with a super flat expression, that was all told hilarious for him.

Nevertheless, those Blue Summer season for Reksi has passed successfully—by all means done by Jenar who at that time also became his closest friend, until now—who even accidentally could always distract Reksi from the darkness of his broken heart.

The next thing makes Reksi flashes back to the very first day his heart was broken, when Jenar asked him the same thing as he does this one more time with his typical wide stupid grin, “I heard mango is great for a new broken-hearted person, sweet yet sour. Sour for the current feelings, and sweet for the cure. Do you want some? There’s bunch of mangos in that table.”
