Surprisingly, apart from experts on everything - starting from virology to nukes, professionals comment on topics which are within their sphere of competence. I know it's kind of unpleasant to receive "I don't know" or "I don't comment" as an answer, but this is life.

Before the briefing there were questions about contradictory materials on the Internet... I asked the experts if this was our topic. The answer came during the briefing - the Foreign Ministry does not comment. So there is no intrigue
