We urgently need your help in stopping a dangerous bill. Tomorrow the D.C. Council is scheduled to have a second reading and final vote on B23-0171, a bill that defies existing U.S. Supreme Court precedent and terminates parental rights regarding the healthcare of minors. Under the bill, children 11 and older will be able to give consent to doctors and other healthcare providers to be vaccinated without their parents' knowledge or consent. The bill not only strips parents’ authority to make these healthcare decisions, it prevents them from even knowing about the healthcare decisions being made.

Even if you don’t live in the District, you need to stay vigilant. Bills like B23-0171 are part of an aggressive nationwide agenda to erode parental rights. If this bill passes it will set the stage for similar legislation to take hold in other states, putting your parental rights — and the rights of parents everywhere — at risk.
