Witness Can Testify to Police Coercion or Government Misconduct (if it happens) Without Repercussions

As a witness testifying in court, your first and foremost duty is to the Court of Law (the Judiciary branch of government) and not to any other branches of government (Executive or Legislative – Parliament). This is why witness testimony is protected by absolute immunity—you cannot be sued for what you say in a Court of Law, provided that your testimony is truthful. However, if you lie in court, you may be charged with perjury.

If you were coerced by the police into giving a statement, you are free to disclose this in court without fear of reprisal. The government or its officers, even if implicated, cannot sue you for defamation—your testimony remains protected by absolute immunity.

Similarly, if you are testifying about potential government misconduct, your testimony is shielded by absolute immunity. This legal protection ensures you can speak openly and truthfully without fear of civil or criminal liability.

If a statement you gave to the Singapore Police Force was induced—meaning it was influenced by a perceived reward or threat of punishment—you are entitled to reveal this on the witness stand. Your testimony in this regard is also safeguarded by absolute immunity, protecting you from any legal or criminal consequences.

To the extent even if you are testifying against a Member of Parliament or Minister, your testimony is protected with absolute immunity. You cannot be sued for defamation or charged (unless you lie in your testimony).

Furthermore, if your testimony exposes government corruption or misconduct by an officer / MP / Minister / agencies / organ of state, it is fully protected under the law. You cannot face prosecution (unless you provide false testimony) or be subjected to private defamation suits (if you do, I can help you for free to strike out private proceedings as per Order 9 Rule 16 of the Rules of Court 2021, I do it for free for you).

I firmly believe that my testimony will provide the Honourable Court with critical insights into the sequence of events leading up to her death and will be essential to understand the cause of her demise. In the interest of justice, please allow me to assist the Court in this matter.

Reasons for My Request to Testify

I was named in the Suicide Note: Ms. Ong’s decision to name me in her note indicates that my interactions with her, even if indirectly through her legal counsel, may have influenced her state of mind on the day of her death.

I was probably the last person to have communicated with her (via her lawyers) 1 hour before death : Ms Geno Ong’s death happened 1 hour after the requests were made during the Case Management Conference of DC/OC 991/2024 (DC/SUM 1294/2024). I believe it is the content of what has been mentioned in the session may have triggered a series of event that led to her suicide 1 hour right after the session is over.

Inadequacy and Inaccuracy of Police Testimony: According to reports, the police testimony provided by Inspector Jeremy Kuan contains substantial inaccuracies and omissions. The Inspector’s statements imply that I provided him with information regarding the conditions leading to Ms. Ong’s death; however, this is categorically untrue. I was neither interviewed nor consulted by the police prior to Inspector Kuan’s testimony. Thus, in the interest of justice, Inspector Kuan’s testimony requires thorough examination. At best, his testimony is incomplete and lacks accuracy; at worst, it risks being misleading or misrepresentative of the events.

SPF & AGC Potential Conflict of Interest – Given the circumstances of this case, I would also like to highlight that both the Attorney-General’s Chambers (AGC) and the Singapore Police Force (SPF) may have a conflict of interest in representing or interpreting my testimony. The AGC and SPF are identified as non-parties in DC/OC 991/2024 and could potentially be named as additional co-defendants in the matter of DC/OC 991/2024.

Due to this potential conflict, I respectfully appeal to the Court to call me as a direct witness in the Coroner’s Inquiry to ensure that my testimony is presented impartially and in full. This step would uphold the interests of justice and prevent any possible influence or conflict arising from DC/OC 991/2024. Present status of DC/OC 991/2024 is that I have been directed to communicate with AGC to add AGC and SPF as co defendants in DC/OC 991/2024.

To reiterate the potential conflict, I would like to highlight to the Honourable Court that it is 1 hour after Case Management Conference of DC/OC 991/2024 (DC/SUM 1294/2024) that Ms Geno Ong Kay Yong took her own life and AGC & SPF are potential defendants in this case.

I humble request the Honourable Court to summon me as a witness to testify on the witness stand, in the interest of Justice and for the Honourable Court to fully and completely understand the events leading up to Ms Geno Ong’s untimely death.
